Amazing donuts that remind me of my childhood! I take my daughter here weekly as it is THE place to be in Kansas City. You are a fool to buy donuts elsewhere.

I'd been really looking forward to getting donuts here when it was my day to bring donuts. I arrived at a bit of a busy time, but it didn't take too long of a wait to get a couple dozen donuts and head off. Those were the most DRY, boring donuts I think I've ever had (not counting DD or similar places). I was very disappointed and ended it up with about a dozen left over since word got around fast that I brought not-so-great donuts that day. I'm not sure if they were day old or they buy premade donuts, but it was really disappointing. They serve other types of food, but I don't plan on ever going back.

I am so glad to have such a quality shop so close to home. Today it’s biscuit and gravy for me (deliciousness) but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you haven’t experienced Marrios yet I implore you to stop what your doing and go there today!

I was excited to try your donuts.. I walk in and there was not a lot to choose from.. I picked the cherry fritter. It was very dry and not tasty at all I too two bites and couldn't do another bite.. maybe it was an off day.. but I was not impressed!!

Stopped by for the first time today. Great customer service, yummy donuts & delicious coffee drinks. Not to mention the great marketer in costume at the curb!

We love Marrio's! We go here about every other weekend and are making it into a tradition. Delicious donuts and you have to try the sausage rolls with cheese. They also have the best vanilla iced latte. Highly recommend!

Excellent and friendly service. The donuts were ok. Not very fluffy. A little more on the dense and dry side. The icing is light and very flavorful.

I've tried this place twice and sadly I think today will be my last. The donuts taste like they are days old and stale. Next time I'll drive the extra way to get fresher donuts.

A great, friendly, neighborhood donut shop! This store does not have a wide variety of donuts, and are missing some staples, like vanilla long john donuts. However, for being in the neighborhood, and being something other than a chain, it's great! Donuts are priced individually, which is different than most other places. One of the more unique finds is a lemon cake donut. It's a must try! I have been a handful of times, and, will continue to go back!

So it started out as a good day. Some sunrise yoga. Then I decided to treat myself with a donut (or 4). I know, I know, but Mark what about your Keto diet? Well I ruined that last night with pizza. So a quick Yelp search and I found several options right here in Lenexa. So I decided to try a new place. I should have stuck with DD. Maybe things are done differently in KC or maybe this place is just new. First of all the choices are underwhelming. I didn't see any of these donuts or pastries other reviewers mentioned: pumpkin, cinammon roll, apple fritter. Of course they didn't really have the standards either. You know Boston Cremes, powdered, chocolate cake donuts. I didnt even see what I think another customer was eating: Kolache. Is there a secret menu? So I selected a half dozen donuts. Then as I'm being rung up individually I realize two things: 1. They dont sell half dozen. 2. They have different prices for the donuts. ???? So I take my donuts and what was supposed to be a large Mocha Latte. The Mocha was more like regular coffee(not very good). I'm not sure an espresso machine was used at all. And there was no chocolate in there (see pic). There was a little foam so its possible it was made with add steamed milk. Now lets get to the important stuff. The donuts. Of course. The old fashioned tasted just that, OLD. Were these made yesyerday? The chocolate icing was ehhh. Did it come from a can? The Long Johns (or eclairs as they are properly called) had a dollop of custard. I honestly almost missed it. I thought i had gotten an empty one. And the jelly had well a smidge of jelly in it. Now the jelly was pretty good. But if I can see donut where jelly should be then oh well. Not good. Finally presentation is everything. One old fashioned had bleed over from the other flavor sitting bext to it. And the donuts were all haphazardly thrown in a bag which ruined the icing. I gave an extra star because they were very friendly.
