Menu has pretty good variety but beef is definitely the primary focus..The food and service we're both excellent and the wine and drink selections were very good. Definitely will return for another great meal.

The service was mediocre. The food was average. We had prime rib, which was good. The baked potatoes were cold - sent them back and they came back exactly the same. Ceasar salads were good, purchased as sides. Iced teas weren't refilled during dinner - offer extended when we were done eating. Won't be back - overpriced overall.

Our waitress Mercedes L has a fantastic personality and made our day! A terrific job, and great help navigating the menu and making our dinner choices. A wonderful meal! Thanks for the service, hospitality, and upscale food. A bit pricey but over all.??

10 out of 10! This little hole in the wall exceeded our expectations. Food was delish! But let's talk about service, Sara is hands down the best servers/waitresses I have ever had. She was a delight! and our experience was full of joy because of her! We were just looking for a romantic hole in the wall and we found it. My recommendation get the steak flight, the. Heisty honeybee, and the creme brulee. Wine prices were a little steep and my potato was cold, but I was drunk I didn't care.

DELICIOUS FOOD. Best filet I've had in a long time. Caesar salad was on point. Butter was mMm. Asparagus, not so much (big yellow-ish stalks). Our waitress, Sara, was perfect. All in all, great date night spot!

Came here with my sister for a little girls night. We both started with the pineapple tini which was yummy. Then we had Caesar salad which was not traditional but super yummy. We shared a filet, the mushroom ravioli and the onion rings. The ravioli was to die for!! The onion rings were very yummy too. I will definitely be back. Hope this place makes it!

We eat out often. So I thought we should try this place based on the mostly positive reviews. When we walked in the door there was no one at the front. After about 10 minutes she finally showed up while telling how busy they were, even though the lobby was empty. And we did have reservations. Anyway we were seated right away sandwiched in between a table on each side of us. Which is not ideal since you have no privacy for conversation. Our server came over and asked both tables if they needed anything and walked off, never saying a word to us. Another 10 minutes went by and she finally took our drink order. She had to tell us how busy they were as well. Ok I get it but it's no excuse for completely ignoring us. We placed our order and ate the bread on the table and finished our drinks hoping we would get refills but no luck. The tables on both sides were getting their drinks refilled and she would walk right by us and disappear. When the food runner brought our salads she happily filled our drinks. I almost asked if she could replace our server. We both had a steak at $47 each along with au gratin potatoes. The steaks were very good but the potatoes were awful. For the amount of money we spent on that meal it was a huge disappointment. We will not be going back. And if anyone decides to try it, just be sure to tell them you do NOT want to sit in Sarah B's section. She should not be in the service industry.

It was very noisy. We were in a booth and the booth behind us had 4 young ladies. It was way too loud. I do not mind people having a good time but it was ear piercing. One if our meals came out 15 minutes after the rest of our dinners. They took 20 % off the fish, We have always enjoyed this place but this was not our best experience

My wife and I visited McGregor’s recently for an evening dinner. It was very clear to the both of us that McGregor’s will not pass as fine dining in OP.For Entrees, my wife ordered a Filet that came out to her liking. I ordered Prime rib that did not impress me. When I order Prime Rib at a good restaurant, I expect to get a big piece of beef that may be an inch thick. The Prime rib that I received was only ½ to ¾ inch thick. This would have made a nice prime rib sandwich, but does not hit it for being a main entrée.Both of us were very disappointed in the baked potatoes. I have the strong suspicion that the potatoes had been cooked much earlier and were being held in a warmer for most of the dinner crowd. The outer ¾ inch was dry and tough. Extended stays in a warmer will do just that. It appeared that the cheese and bacon had been placed in the potatoes hours beforehand. The cheese was dried out by then and the bacon was lost in the cheese lump. It had become a single taste. The décor was very good and the service was excellent.I would like to see McGregor’s succeed in OP, but after our initial dinner, I have my doubts. I would hope the McGregor’s would hire a 3rd party restaurant operations manager to come in and give them some advice.

Stopped in for supper off of a referral from a coworker. Only hiccup was I order a steak well done and sent it back as it was undercooked and came back still not well done. But cooked to my husband's liking so we just switched meals so everyone was happy.Catherine our server was impeccable! I have never in all my life have someone take care of me the way she did. Very kind and sincere of wanting you to have a wonderful visit to the restaurant. Will come back!

It's a sneaky little hideaway (at this hour you'd only see the closed butcher shop at the front) that you'd likely miss walking by. It feels a bit sparse, a seat at the bar is the way to go. Overall, it's a little big for its britches, servicable food at a pretty high price for a spot in a stripmall, but the drinks (creative) and the brussels (incredible) are among the best around. Kristin, the bartender (et al) made fantastic drinks and tailored them perfectly to each of us. She's the real star. Come for the perfectly fine dinner and stay for Kristin's cocktails.

My first impression of the restaurant was a bit of a surprise. If you are looking for a dark paneled room with low lights and candles for intimate conversation, this is not the place you are looking for... If you are looking for an outstanding mea and drinks ll, this is the place! The ambiance initially caught me by surprise, but everything else made up for it. Fun place, great food, and we will definitely go back and recommend it to our friends.

This is a great option for a quiet, fine dining experience. It's locally owned so that's nice. It's pretty pricey. There were four of us and our bill was $400 with a tip included. We ordered 4 alcoholic drinks + 1 glass of wine, 4 entrees, 6 sides (they are extra), and 3 desserts. You could probably spend $150/couple if you didn't order as much as we ordered. The atmosphere is nice, but it is in a strip mall and there's only so much you can do to get away from that look, even on the interior. Some tables are pretty close to one another. We could, unfortunately, hear our neighbors' entire conversation and had to concentrate not to hear them. The service was better than most places. Overall, it was a lovely night out with friends and we would return.

Food and service were excellent. Only issue was that while we were seated immediately on arrival it was well over 25 minutes before anyone came near us and I had to let front desk know. However Tom our server was fantastic and couldn't have been better in terms of service, advice on food and being welcoming. We will ask for him again and are looking forward to going back
