The bartender was great & the food was delicious. After noticing my friend & I were trying to have a conversation, the bartender turned down the music a bit so we could hear each other. The 2 ladies who felt they needed to be the center of attention to everyone in the establishment were a bit much. So we paid & left even though we would have stayed for a bit longer if it wasn't for that but, it is a bar...

I've eaten here many times. I felt like the Friday special open faced roast beef was burnt. I felt bad because I had recommended it to another person in my party. It is usually very tasty. The manager was attentive to our group but probably should have helped out his one server when the lunch crowd got busy.

I don't know how to explain this kind of bar other than to call it "The Midwestern tradition of having bars in old Pizza Huts" (which I don't think this place was) but it's a great version of this. Food was wonderful, service was friendly. Everything you would expect from a bar like this. Also appreciated the American Bar/Irish Pub fusion menu. No complaints, great spot to spend an evening with friends.
