This is a great place for fresh bakery items, sandwiches, and drinks. The relaxed atmosphere makes for a great gathering place for friends.

This place was very disappointing. There were plenty of empty tables but every table was dirty. The food was so disappointing. How do you mess up biscuits and gravy? The best part of the avocado toast was the toast, barely any avocado. Got the latte with the market syrup—how does a syrup with honey, cinnamon, and vanilla taste like nothing? Very disappointed as this place has such high ratings and was fairly pricey.

A local gem we are lucky to have! This is a bakery cafe with primo eats. They have a drive through that moves surprisingly quickly considering everything is made fresh. Premium ingredients but still affordable for an occasional treat if you are keeping to a modest budget. Monster cookies are awesome. Breakfast sandwich was so delicious! Quinoa bowls are delish. I wish they had more options without pork but I didn't ask if substitutions were possible because it's always so crazy busy there. It's a very small dining room. The atmosphere is really cozy in a nice way but also the space is very tight. Not for large groups or wild children. Wheelchair/Walker accessible but would be a struggle to navigate. Bathrooms are single stall and were clean on my visits.

The cutest market, and the best bakery selections. Service was top notch and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

I got the Girl Breakfast and the avocado toast was okay for me. It tasted like one big bite of vinegar so that was off putting. But everything else was good, and the biscuits and gravy is A MUST!!! 🤤

Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to give it a visit!

My wife and I's favorite coffee shop as it has a drive thru which is convenient with a toddler.

But this is the 3rd time they can't hear us and we can't here them on the intercom. Then our coffee order is wrong. Market house Lattes (Their signature) are just lattes with no syrup.

Might have to start making trips inside to get what we want.

*Horrible parking. Have tried multiple times to come back but can never get a spot*

Love the peanut butter balls.

I don't know what cheese they used here but 🤢
Usually I love their food but this sandwich and their avocado toast really brings down my excitement to come back

Nobody really new the pies they carried year round or when the bakery would have more.

Went with a couple of coffee cake pies and tried out their house latte.

Both were tasty.

I'm a frequent patron of McLain's and their food and pastries are typically top-notch. But apparently they're hitting hard times and now only able to serve McDonald's breakfast burrito sized burritos 🤯. This is the second time in a row I've had this weak sized burrito... For almost $9...ouch.

I placed an order over the phone for 2 dozen mini cupcakes to be picked up the next day. When I went to pick them up, the girl told me she didn’t see an order under my name. She went and looked in two spots for them and came back empty handed. She said she was sorry, but they weren’t there. Then proceeds to ask me, “now, how can I help you?” I said I was in charge of these cupcakes for a baby shower and need them now. A guy came over and asked me what I ordered. He had them in his hand. They were in the refrigerator. I thought, maybe, she could have given me a discount for all the trouble, but she didn’t. Then had the balls to ask me if I wanted to leave a tip. I won’t be back. I did let all the ladies at the baby shower know what kind of service I had.

The food has really gone downhill and we make better coffee at home. The veggie quiche tasted of sausage and they refused to take it back. The salad was barely dressed and didn’t really taste of anything. The music was way too loud and it was really cold in there. I’m not going back.

I struggle with the logic at these places—-why would we want to wait in line for 20 minutes? Go back-and-forth to the coffee bar looking for an order for another 20 minutes, clean up our own dishes? Put down our own dirty table? ***Extremely noisy atmosphere-Especially the calling out for everyone’s drink orders. ….And be asked for a tip? I’m happy for the chain and the employees…..But I can’t do it.🙉 Sorry!

Alright, get ur reading glasses on, this is gonna be a long one. I waited a few hours so I’d be more levelheaded but I’m still pretty peeved.

TLDR- finding parking is atrocious. Best of luck to you, my friend. Foods pretty good. Not great. In line with the price though. Make sure to check that everything’s accurate before leaving.

Ok this is mostly an overly dramatic vent, I probably could’ve remedied the situation if I tried and they were very busy. So. That’s why I gave 3 stars.
For context: I’m on a medication that makes the AVERAGE person gain THIRTY pounds. For my schizophrenia h a ha. See “the creature” or be ravenously, pitifully, cripplingly hungry. Those are my options. I’m considering just going back to seeing the creature instead of making a fool of myself in business reviews and being in constant agony. This medication makes u a bottomless pit of cravings. But I don’t want! to gain 30 pounds. So I intermittent fast. One meal a day, I can PIG out on whatever and spend the next 23 hours dreaming of my next meal.

So, my one meal for the day was gonna be here. Great reviews, looks promising. Put in a to go order, called. The girl on the phone was a sweetheart. Yippee! Arrive and there is a line for the drive thru leading into the intersection. No parking. People parked blocking others cars. And this is clearly an ongoing issue, as other businesses in the area have signs labeled “NO McCLAINS PARKING!!” I waited 7 minutes for a spot to open and marched my happy butt inside to pick up my lemonade, veggie wrap with added avocado + no onions and a side of Mac and cheese. And 3 cookies. On the website, it said that if they didn’t have the specific cookies I chose, they would be replaced at employee discretion. No big deal.

Imagine 😐my 😐shock, 😐dismay, 😐 horror,,, if you will, when I get home n open up my bag and
1.) smell onions. :(
2.) only 2 cookies in the bag
3.) potato chips, not Mac and cheese.
4.) no flippin avocado

That’s like.. 8 dollars out of the $33 dollar order.

Cookies were pretty good. Veggie wrap was nice. Wasn’t a fan of the lemonade tbh. Potato chips were SPECTACULAR buuuut I didn’t want them or order them and I paaaaid for the Mac n cheeeeese.

Majorly disappointed but I know, logically, this is immensely dramatic. But yeah I totally broke down over the Mac n cheese. I’m sure they’re phenomenal if you dine in. Or if you are not a crazy person.

I come here quite often for lunch as it’s right down the street from my office. I love the food but they are notorious for putting bread on my salads every time I specify no bread because I’m gluten free. Ticket will usually be correct but food is not. Having gluten free bakery options you would think they would be a little better about this. I’m constantly having to reiterate no bread in the drive thru only to have to go back inside to have them fix it when I’m on a time crunch to get back to work and it’s frustrating.
