This place is lovely. Love the openness and selection! Ordered a latte, scone, cup cookies and the Iowa sandwich. Everything was delicious. They also have an awesome outdoor space with turf.
Kid-friendliness: Great outdoor space for kids with turf.

I’ve had a number of breakfasts here and lunches and food just tastes fresh. Breakfast sandwiches are crisp and flavorful and the lunch wraps are great. Hidden gem in the south OP area and great spot to meet up with friends. Weather permitting, nice outside seating.

Wife was close by getting nails done, so thought I’d try it out since I was in dire need of my black magical life juice known as coffee. Very busy for a Sunday morning. But this place did not disappoint. I had the spicy breakfast burrito and a large coffee; got the wife a lemon blueberry scone. Burrito was great. Wife said the scone was fantastic. And my coffee? Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had from a coffee shop. Going to have to go back and see if they sell bags of it to take home. Will definitely be going back for coffee. I’ll have to try their lunches, as well. And on a side note for any single guy reading this, you might think about stopping in for coffee and food. There seemed to be a lot of single ladies there hanging out. ?.

This place is spectacular! ? I think everything on my plate is in house made! My club on a homemade croissant has blackberry mayo on it! ? My wife had the quiche and my granddaughter had the mac n cheese. All of it was amazing!

Food was awesome as well as the service. I met two friends for lunch and the only issue we had was the ambient noise level in the inside eating area was very loud, so loud it was difficult to hear each other without raising out voices. As the lunch crowd cleared out, the noise level became more manageable. We'll be back but not at noontime.

Probably the only reason I am not giving them 5 stars on food is because I've only been there once ? I will be going back to sample more and most likely update that last star. Nice selection of food and drinks and great staff. Definitely check out this quaint shop and enjoy the delicious smells while you're at it!

Always great food, they could watch the brewed coffee pots a little closer to make sure they are full. It's pretty noisy inside.

Honestly, used to be my fav breakfast place in kc with the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. But the menu change and issues with orders is enough for me to not want to go there anymore. Biscuits and gravy order used to come with two biscuits eggs and potatoes for a decent price. Now you only get one biscuit, and have to ask for eggs and potatoes on side… last time I got it, the biscuits they were rock hard. And they never give you a bag to put your stuff in so you’re always having to walk into your home with multiple containers, silverware, loose sauce packets in your hand. Hope they figure it out because this was my fav place to go.

I was familiar with the family history of this wonderful bakery from it started in Waldo near where I grew up. To find it again in South Overland Park and the taste of delicious food was magnificent stop never stop.
