Staff was friendly. Portion size was good although the pricey range of lunch. Pulled pork was terrible. It was crockpot quality with way too much salt. Chickens were both tasty. Mac salad on

My first time. And with the experience and the food I will be back. The stag was very helpful and quick. My Teri Chicken was amazing. Great place. I’ll go again, soon!
In a quick fashion, these guys can put some sugared chicken thighs on top of some rice and throw a pile of macaroni'd cheese beside it like, well, like anyone could I guess. It's not much of an offering. Almost you feel like you're waiting in a food tent during a disaster somewhere near a beach, and these guys had some sugar, some chicken thighs, and big bag of rice lying around. It's tasty, I'll give them that. But it's literally darkened sugar in sauce form slathered on charred and salted chicken thighs - so take that for what it's worth. The rice - brown or white - cuts the saccharine nature nicely, but your diabetes will itch after dinner here. They're not bad, and their shop is chill AF. Feels like a Ron Jon's, but with chicken chunks, brah. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat this food all the time, but sometimes you just want some charred candy flavor mixed with tender dark meat and rice. I prefer the brown rice, by the way. Makes me feel younger, I guess. When they first opened, me and the wife were like: "Who do they think they're feeding with these 29 chicken thighs and 2 pounds of rice!?! All for $15 to $17 per plate! Nowadays, you get your bag and you're like: "should I call the cops? Did I get mugged?" It's probably better than Hawaiian bros though, and where else are you going to feel so healthy about being the most unhealthy you could be? Glycemic index, STAT! Try it! It's good.

I went through the drive thru and got a spam musubi which I had never tried before. It was delicious! It wasn't served hot like I thought it would be. It was room temperature. I will definitely go back and try other

We got food for the drive through. And when we got home there was a minor issue with the order. So I called back and asked what we could do about it. And they said to come back and they'd make us a plate for free. Service on the phone and in store was super polite. And very apologetic. They even threw in some free musubi's as an extra sorry. We talked to Aidan on the phone and he had great customer service.

This hawaiian food is far superior to other hawaiian chain restaurants in kansas city.
