I am getting disappointed with the quality of the mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs. The last time I had mochi donuts, a few of them tasted soggy. The Korean corn dogs I purchased today doesn’t look like the first couple of Korean corn dogs I ordered from them. Today it is a lot thinner and over fried. The hot Cheetos corn dog isn’t fully covered with hot Cheetos crumbs. Also, it would be helpful if they cover up what they don’t have on the menu because every time I ask for something, they end up saying that don’t have it. Overall rate is a 3 because quality of food is inconsistent but it was good when they first opened.

I like to try places that look interesting at least once and give the benefit of the doubt. The mochinuts were good and they had some nice flavors. They had a promotion for the day if you bought half a dozen you got free ice cream. The individuals behind the counter were also friendly.

I missed having access to a Mochinut so was delighted to see this spot open up. Their matcha and black sesame flavors are my favorite. A couple of others like the tiramisu or red velvet are a little tasteless.
Been here at this location at least three times so far since opening and honestly not impressed at all compared to all the other Mochinut franchises from other states. I always love to give businesses extra chances to improve themselves, but this place seems to go downhill. The food quality and flavorings are way off each time. Honestly, I'm not very happy with the drinks either. Light ice ordered, expect the cup to come about 75-80% full. The mochi donuts are not fresh, somewhat hard, and stale. Other states that have this franchise always made fresh each time ordered rather than just lay around premade. Also, if you use a card rather than cash, expect an extra 3% surchage on top of everything. Full of unwanted surprises all in one. Honestly, they should let customers know prior to paying what to be expected. All in all, I don't recommend this place. Fun to try once, but not always.

I’ve never seen a bakery or restaurant that charges a 3% credit card processing fee to customers. It's unheard of in Overland Park. As a business owner myself, I don’t think it’s cool for merchants to do this.
