Mud Pie Bakery & Coffee

Beyond impressed! My boyfriend's favorite dessert is a key lime pie. He has a son that has a gluten and dairy allergy and his one request for his birthday this year was a key lime pie that he could share with his son. That was not an easy task to locate. Even though it is not something they offer on their menu, Mud Pie Bakery was willing to do a special order for a gluten free, dairy free key lime pie and I must say, we were blown away! It was delicious! The crust was delicious, the filling was tangy, and the whipped topping was sweet and balanced everything else out! Not only that, but it looked beautiful! The best part is that my boyfriend's son got to enjoy a sweet treat that the rest of the family was having and that is something that rarely happens, due to his dietary restrictions! Thank you, Mud Pie, for doing this for us and for being so kind and accommodating!

No more fried donuts but I love how homey the new space is, so it still deserves 5 🤩

I had an incredible experience at this vegan bakery! Clean, beautiful, easy to visually see all the options, and the staff was kind and respectful of my loitering before ordering. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners Michael and had a great conversation with him while having breakfast! Being from out of state, he was so welcoming and kind. 10/10 would recommend! P.S. TRY THE SAVORY BAKES, YOU WON’T REGRET IT!

Super cute, bright (soft lighting, but in a faerie way). Staff was very welcoming and warm. Their baked goods all looked beautifully tempting. I ordered a pizza kolache and fell in love. I don't usually leave reviews on the first date, but this place has captured me. While this bakery is perfect for those who are vegan and gluten-free, it's honestly good for anyone who has taste buds.

My fiancee has gluten and dairy allergies, and Mud Pie has the best allergen-friendly baked goods that we've found. We were very excited about their new location opening up, but were dismayed to learn that they will no longer be serving fried donuts. We still love Mud Pie, but will likely visit less frequently now as the fried donuts were our favorite.

This is an amazing little place! I tried a handful of various goods and they were all delicious! So glad there's a yummy vegan bakery in Overland Park.
Cannot wait to go back. Already drooling over what I'm gonna get next time. Worth a visit for sure!
