I meet a dear friend here every 2 weeks for lunch. The last couple of times, she's brought her very ill brother, who loves it, so its been nice that he could come. The waiters are great, don't mind if we sit and visit and the food is always good. Only piece of advice is that if you have trouble hearing, do not sit in the little room on the right as you come in. The 3 of us had my 96 yr old aunt with us and we ended up in that room and they couldn't hear a thing. Always predictably pleasant.
This place hands down was the best. Not only was the food good, but the service was great! We never had a server bring out grapes and and crackers for the the two little ones. We had a 1yr granddaughter and my 6yr old son with us. We been at the Fram up the st all day and they was hungry. And with out missing a bet. They brought out snacks for them with our being ask. We was all shocked ? ? love this place highly recommend
The Beast Burger should be a part of the regular menu rather than a special. It was amazing!! I also asked for grilled asparagus rather than steamed, and they did it. Our first time there, but not our last by a long shot. Whomever compared it to Twin Peaks bar and restaurant...lied. it's nothing like that. Way better. 2 sodas, 2 beast burgers, 2 desserts $55. Well worth it. Friendly staff as well.
We came here on a Sunday around 5:30pm. No reservations but we managed to get seated right away even though it was packed. There's a main dining area, bar area seating, and outdoor patio seating. We decided to sit at the bar area in a booth. We ordered beer on tap and the mango martini (delicious). Food wise, we ordered their 1/2 pounder burger and California chicken. It came with a choice of fries, homemade chips, or slaw. Food was good and hearty. As I was waiting for the food, I saw the servers bringing out other food items and they were huge! Prices here are very reasonable. We'll definitely be back to try some other items on the menu and happy hour is a must try. This place is like an upscale casual restaurant all in one. I really enjoyed it here. It was fun sitting in the booth at bar area watching sports on the tv screens. This would be a fun place to watch a game. All the employees were friendly and seemed to enjoy working here. Definitely will be back!
There is nothing better than Nick & Jake's smoked Prime Rib meal. Whether it's supper, or Sunday brunch! Yummy!
Super busy place! Waitress was amazing (don't remember her name, but she had dyed hair) We sat on the patio and enjoyed a little bit of a quieter experience - inside was so busy it'd be impossible to talk without telling and I hate doing that, so the patio was def the way to go.All the meals in our party came out together, generous portions and wonderful to taste!
Happy hour is a really good deal. We split four appetizers and two drinks for a great price, with leftovers. Madelyn was a great server also. Very attentive and genuine!
Came for drinks and apps during happy hour with some friends earlier today. We were sat in a booth with a clear view of the kitchen. Normally, I would not mind this at all. But after working at several different restaurants throughout my life, I have never seen seen so many servers eating food directly in front of the expo line where food is being sent out. We also witnessed a hand full of nose picks behind the expo line as well, which was extremely unsettling to watch while we waited for our food. To say the least, we will not be coming back. Pro tip- make an area for the servers to eat that is completely out of everyone's view. Especially far far away from the expo line where you are sending out guests food orders. It just felt wrong.
Kate was our server who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. Loved her willingness to help us order! By the way, the meals were tasty.. A+ ?? It was our first time visiting and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!! Sit on the balcony too. Thank you Nick and Jake’s for an amazingly fresh and tasteful dinner ?
Great place! Amazing food, great atmosphere. Service was excellent even at a busy time. Can't wait to go back. Meatloaf was sooo good!!!!!
Best food and customer service always. You would never know that they too have been affected by covid they are totally up and running. Excellent!!
First time eating here and everything was delish. Jasmine was amazing. You can tell she has a passion for customer service. Thank you Jasmine and the chefs for a wonderful dinner!!!
It was a 25 minute wait...nothing unusual..until we got chips and queso..the chips were stale. Like badly stale. And we asked for a new batch and they were still badly stale. Then our waiter was being friendly and nice to everyone else besides us. Wouldn't check up on us much as he would with everyone else, asking me if I wanted to add this. (Note my mother was paying) so he was picking on the younger one. I gave it 3 stars because I liked the food besides the mashed potatoes which were like not so cold but cold. I do not want to come back.
Been here for drinks before and the bar area is large and always busy. Nice professional crowd and really busy during happy hour. The restaurant area is also always busy. The food is great, never had a bad meal. Whether you are having a business dinner or family dinner, can't go wrong. Service is always nice and friendly.
My family and I are new to the KC area and this was the first restaurant we visited. The staff was good and the food was your typical restaurant food. We enjoyed our meals
