Of Course Kitchen & Company

Phenomenal use of herbs and spices to enhance quality meats, fishes, and vegan dishes. Have eaten here twice with zero complaints. The lamb is out of this world! Burnt ends, Filet, Shrimp, Smash Burger, and Scallops were a big hit.

We had the filet mignon and ribeye. They were cooked perfectly and had unique wonderful flavor combinations. We finished with the carrot cheesecake. Gorgeous and delicious! We sat at the bar. The bartenders were friendly and very knowledgeable about the complex dishes. Thank you!

Unfortunately for my husband and I, we did not enjoy our experience at Of Course last night. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were told that the CONFIRMED reservation we had did not show up in the system and they would not honor it. I showed the confirmation email, reminder, etc to no avail. It started our night poorly. We grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and noticed other couples had the same issue but somehow the restaurant accommodated. No check ins for us to see how we are doing, no attempt to set things right. The food was great (crab dip, egg curry toast, ribeye). Drink was good but as the night went on you could tell the kitchen was backed up and even service at the bar declined. We are typically forgiving diners and generous tippers. Nothing aligned during our time here and unfortunately we would neither recommend for a special night nor likely go back to visit. Would not give this place any more of our money.

Stunning restaurant with a wonderful team! The manager, Alison, was absolutely delightful and made our night very special. The food was also excellent, we had a nut allergy at the table which they were very accommodating for. I’d highly recommend Of Course, and of course, we’ll be back!

A true gem and well worth the drive to 159th St. if you are not a Johnson Co resident. The interior is thoughtfully designed and transforms you immediately away from the suburban shopping center locale to something more unique and captivating. Both the drink and food menu are excellent. Despite only being open a year, they have developed fan favorite menu mainstays while also continually innovating with seasonal ingredients. Of Course’s chef and kitchen crew are doing something special and we are lucky to have them! The serving and bar staff are also excellent so you are in great hands across the board.

We’re avid foodies in Kansas City, and this is BY FAR one of the top 5 best restaurants in Kansas City metro. We love going here for date night.

The ambiance is so cute and very upscale and elevated western Asian/Indian cuisine. It’s unlike any place in Kansas City and hope they continue to open new restaurants. The chicken kabobs are divine and the cocktails/mocktails are delicious (and dangerous since they are so easy to sip down). Highly suggest trying this place out!!

Run, don’t walk. This place is absolutely amazing!! Great little place tucked away in Bluhawk with excellent ambiance and food. My only feedback would be I wish they did more entrees instead of Tapas since tapas is hard to share with friends when splitting a bill. But either way, we are frequent patrons!

A restaurant that serves small plates w an emphasis of Indian and American cuisine. Small menu but the items we had were delicious. Several great drinks for the adults. A few mocktails for the kids. Service was excellent.

Food was great to taste. The cocktails were really delicious flavors. It was awesome to see and try the zero proof options.
Service was little slow between the multiple shared plates we ordered. The egg curry and shrimp Tikka chat had similar flavors. Had we known that we would have ordered something different.
