We ordered, waited 20 or so minutes and had to go to the counter to ask where our food was. Turned out they were out of what we ordered. Were they not going to tell me? I asked for the closest thing and it was ready 10 min later. Good food but bad experience.

The employees at BluHawk Panera are always helpful and seem happy. They seem to have a camaraderie you don't always see in a work establishment. My favorite place to eat!!!!Dietary restrictions: My vegan friends can eat here too!

I am not an unlucky person, but why is it that every time I try and come here they seem to be out of the exact item that I want to order? They people working are always pleasant and kind but man, I just want some darn broccoli cheddar soup. :/Side note: the drive through line takes a very long time. This is due more to the nature of how long it takes to prepare food. But it really feels long when you decide not to order anything and you get trapped.

Over the last year I have watched the degradation of Panera at 7871 West 159th Street in Overland Park. My orders have gotten messed up so badly that it's really not worth coming in any more. First I ordered a tuna sandwich and got a chicken sandwich. Another time I ordered a pick two and they rang up the soup and sandwich separately so the price was much more. Another time I ordered a ham sandwich and got a turkey sandwich. The majority of the mistakes are coming from the order taker / cashier who is foreign and can barely speak English. Of course the orders are getting messed up!! All good in giving someone a chance, but start him out in a less important job with less interaction with customers. He is a nice guy, but if he can't understand what a customer is ordering, that is going to frustrate everyone.
