I went with friends to hangout and had such a wonderful time. The staff was so kind and friendly. The pizza was amazing, it tasted fresh and hot. I'll definitely be ordering again from here.

The pizza was AMAZING.I got huge pepperoni pizzas from here. The cheese was fresh, stretchy, and added a nice authentic cheesy flavor to it. Pepperoni added a smoky kick to the pizza.Crust and sauce was good also, but those 2 were the stars of the pizza.Staff were really friendly. Atmosphere was nice and had a modern flashy sports bar kind of vibe.
Pulled up tonight at 7:30 and immediately left…two cashiers were sitting on counter where they put food and one had feet crossed and shoes on counter….why are they sitting on the counter?

Disappointed to say the least. Service was nonexistent. When we ordered our food we barely got a word, let alone a welcome or a smile. The food (calzone, small pizza and breadsticks) took 30 minutes and the place was completely empty with no deliveries going out the door. When we did get our food, the pizza (we ordered a whole and not a slice) seemingly had been sitting for a day and reheated - the crust was rock hard and not the Papa Keno's you'd think, with the cheese being hard and crusty as well. There was no way it was fresh. The calzone had a piece of plastic in it, likely the corner of a sauce or cheese bag. The cinnamon sticks were caked with a 95% cinnamon and 5% sugar mixture that tasted like biting into a spoonful of cinnamon. But the beer was good.

Avoid the wings at all costs. Ordered a dozen wings from their new item menu. Should have stuck to pizza. The wings came out soggy as a wet noodle. Like they’d been taken out of the freezer bag and microwaved. When I took them back up to the counter to express how bad they were, I just got a “sorry about that.” No offer to remake them, make something else, or a refund. Don’t think I’ll be back.

I love Papa Kenos after spending time in Lawrence as a student but they have become incredibly over priced. $8.99 for a slice is outrageous especially when the toppings are not generous. They should also do more daily specials to bring in deal hungry customers like myself. I hope they stay around for a while, but with the prices I'm not sure how long they will last.

If they tell you it will be ready in 25 minutes, plan on 45. All the employees are on their phones instead of working. 2 tables of customers an no one else waiting but me. Ridiculous. Won’t return.
Ordered a slice of pizza. There was a hair in the pizza baked in so I had to throw the entire slice away.

We tried the "new management" and it not really any better than the old. Our pizza hardly had any toppings and tasted ehhhhh. Go to Minskys down the road at about 127th and Metcalf. Maybe a bit expensive, but well worth it, lots of toppings and we have never had a bad pizza or experience.
