I once considered this the best pho in Overland Park. It has changed owners and the smell walking in is just awful. Something must've died in the crawlspace or something. This isn't the same pho it was before. The broth is way too sweet and not rich. It's not the worst but because of the stench, I will not be coming back anymore.

We had a very disappointing experience here. First, it took forever for our order to arrive. The coffee we ordered was so bitter — nothing like what we’ve had before. Then, my husband was given the wrong dish, and after another long wait, the waitress told us what he originally wanted wasn’t even available.
We decided to just order a banh mi, thinking it would be quicker, but again it took forever. By the time it finally came, we had to take it to go. We came in hungry and left hungry — more than an hour wasted waiting.
I understand the restaurant was busy, but that doesn’t excuse such poor service and lack of communication. What a waste of both time and money. We won’t be coming back.

Not only the food that really delicious. People who own restaurants are super nice, generous, considerate people. I ordered my food through DoorDash and somehow the order got messed up they sent me what I didn’t order. In the other day i ordered food through DoorDash again they end up sending me extra meal for what they mess up last time. I m so appreciative for what they did and make them one of my favorite restaurant.

Authentic delicious. New ownership is really doing a fantastic job. They are not cutting any corners.
The descriptions and names of some of the menu items are inaccurate on doordash - be sure to order based off the photo.

I ordered the com tam. The pork chop was good, but the rice was cold and the egg was way over cooked. Wasn't horrible. Just better options around.

Went in and it smelled really terrible. I was going to put up with it and try the food but couldn't handle it.

I have been coming here and enjoy the variety of choices. Today is my first time run into an issue and disappointment. I ordered papaya salad with mild spicy. I am someone eats pretty spicy food and have high tolerance. The dish turned out to be unbearable spicy, visibly with 7 -8 chili pepper in the dish. I explained to the server, the dish doesn’t appear to be on mild spicy that I couldn’t eat it anymore. It is unbearable after a few bits. Can you do something about it? The server came back and told me the owner is sitting at the far back table having lunch. I said do you mean she is not able to help or talk to her customer when she is eating ( the time was 12:30pm; it wasn’t anything like late lunch time btw)? I need to speak to her. The server went back to the owner she glanced at my table and she not even make any intend to acknowledge. I am very disappointed the customer service at this place. They also kept all tips instead of paying their server. I have to prepare cash for this server, I don’t feel like paying tips to such a horrible owner.

We had spring rolls, sweet potato and shrimp fries, beef noodle soup(pho), chicken pad Thai and Bun thit Nuog, cha gio.
The spring rolls were good with a warm peanut sauce. The sweet potato and shrimp fries were delicious and there was a lot!
The beef noodle soup broth was wonderful. A lot of noodles and the beef was good, the flank was excellent. The server didn't bring the accoutrements for the soup like basil, Cilantro, sprouts, lime and jalapeño. I had to ask specifically for the items. The pad Thai was delicious as was the Bun dish.
I had to ask for a water refill and after that she didn't come back at all so we left thirsty all of us. After we had finished we waited about 20 minutes before we could get her attention for to go containers and our checks.
We were going to order mango and coconut rice but didn't want to wait longer.
The food is absolutely worth going and we will go back. The service was not great but that could have just been a bad day.

I’ve been going to this restaurant every time I’ve been to Overland Park for the last 13 years but hadn’t been back for over a year until tonight. I just found out that it has new owners. The pho is not as good. They gave me a few scraps of meat in the P3. My coworker asked for one of the Thai dishes with no spice and it came out nuclear hot. It took them 15 minutes to bring the pho dish and then another 20 minutes for the other dishes. I’m sad to say that I will not be going back to what was one of my favorite pho restaurants in the country.
