This was the most bizarre restaurant experience I have had... probably ever? Each time I go, the service is progressively slower. Tonight took the cake. Stressed out dude in the back didn't greet anyone and was busily prepping to go orders or... something? We hung out there listening to the Christian music on the loud speaker, choking on the fumes of something spicy that permeated the small space. People ahead of us had been there awhile and gave up. Just as we were really starting to choke in earnest and cough up a lung, we got the time of day from the one worker and he started aggressively and rapidly preparing the bowls. When I say aggressive, I mean he was really throwing stuff around and rapid-fire asking our group of four to raise our hands if we wanted X, Y, or Z. It was highly uncomfortable. He did give us a bowl for free, which was nice. But all while complaining of being stressed enough to have a stroke and meet Jesus early. So, overall, good food but you are in for a long wait to have a really strange experience set to very religious music.

This place is fantastic. The chef Justin has a passion for cooking and you can taste it in the delicious, beautiful food! The owner makes a beautiful bowl presentation, too. We will be back.

Another new restaurant that really impressed me. At first I thought the prices were a little on the high side but after receiving my dish with not only a very generous portion of chicken but some of the highest quality chicken I've ever had I felt like we underpaid. Highly recommended.

Food was mediocre, and the customer service was appalling. This was our first time here and most likely will be our last. The worker who took our order was incredibly rude. While ordering, I used the term “sticky rice” instead of “sushi rice” and he was visibly annoyed by this and condescendingly corrected me “you mean sushi rice?”. Not sure what the big deal was since sushi rice is often referred to as sticky rice. It was clear that he knew what I meant, he just wanted to be a j**** After that, he rushed us along with our order as if we were inconveniencing him. The food was just okay, but absolutely not worth the trouble. This place isn’t worth your time or money. Spare yourselves.

TLDR: Food is great when you can get it. SERVICE is terrible. The last time we were able to successfully eat there about two months ago the staff had decided to cut all the onions for what seemed like a few days worth right in the front dining. The entire place was enveloped with fumes and both my wife and I's eyes really hurt even just trying to order and take to go.Then the next time we tried to eat there they were completely out of sushi rice so most of their entire menu would not be able to be ordered for the next hour. This was in the middle of the day. Then today we decided to try again and arrived at 7:27pm. Their old closing time was 9pm from the door lettering, however a new posted paper sign noted 8pm. We thought "30 minutes so we're good." We went inside and everything was cleared off the food line and no one was around. We could hear the sound of dishes being washed in the back. We rang the bell they have at the counter and nothing. Apparently arriving more than 30 minutes before closing isn't not good enough to still order food.Overall it seems they are not super concerned with customers. I can say that even with the food being good, the service has been such that I will not be returning.

Wonderful food, very fresh and tasty! BONUS: Justin is a delight (and he’ll talk your ear off)! Keep up the great work.

Great poké place. Glad it's close to home. Economical for what you get and very good. Great service when we went, they seem very knowledgeable about the dish. Try and see for yourself.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I love Justin, who is the best server or manager or whatever his role is, but he knows his food and is always willing to make a poke bowl for you the way you like it. I wish you had a Poke licious in Lee’s Summit, which is where I live so I didn’t have to drive out to 119th every time I want a poke bowl. Keep up the good service and good food.

Super awesome poke place!! They have the sushiritto!!! The sushi burrito! ??So cool! Haha very tasty. I mean it’s all the same ingredients so however you want to eat that ?? but it was very tasty. Could’ve added a few more shrimp ? to my fiancé’s bowl (only added 3 shrimp) but it’s fine. Lol still tasted awesome!!!

Small place tucked into an inconspicuous strip mall, but BIG FLAVORS and helpful staff. Large bowls are a pit pricey for just a normal lunch but definitely will be back.

The food is very delicious, but both times I have come here the staff has acted like it was a huge inconvenience to serve me and my boyfriend. I'll come here because the food is good and it's close to my house, but will probably order in advance from now on. I wish they didn't put cucumber in their water, but I know I'm one of the few people in the world that doesn't like cucumbers. With a regular bowl you get 3 protein options, with a large you get 5. I think that's a great deal compared to what I used to get back in California. I wish they had a "house" sauce option that I'm used to, but the spicy Mayo one is good too. There aren't a lot of topping options here I am interested in, but it still makes for a decent sized bowl.

Terrible customer service I normally tip but sadly couldn't this time. I had rang the bell 4 to 5 times and even walk out to GPS another place. Finally when man came out to serve the order he seemed very irritated. Even said he had things to do even though i was the only customer. and tried to speed through the process even tho I had questions. He also charged me $15.40 one bowl no drink. Food good but better places definitely to eat ? that aren't rude.

Flavorful and fresh poke bowls with great customization choices. If you have any allergies I would recommend going in to order rather than ordering online for pickup. There's no allergen chart on the website and the text box for food allergies can easily get lost in the process between taking the order and assembly.
