Popculture Gourmet Popcorn & Ice Cream - OP

Brought the family here for an afternoon treat. It was our first time here, and we're blown away walking in the door. The smells were reminiscent of a candy store. They have a popcorn tasting wall with at least 50 different flavors. Now I've been to gourmet shops like this before and the popcorn usually tastes like the flavor is an afterthought. Not here! The blueberry tastes like eating an actual blueberry! We were blown away by all of the incredible flavors. They had a Mardi Gras King Cake flavored popcorn that tastes like eating an actual King Cake! I bought 6 different flavors, and can't wait to devour them!
Now the ice cream is absolutely delicious as well. We all ended up sharing with each other and decided every new flavor was our favorite. We will definitely be spending lots of time here! Do yourself a favor and POP in and give your taste buds a treat!

I brought my two sons here this evening. It was 15 minutes before they closed. We weren’t greeted. There were no smiles. My sons spent two minutes picking out ice cream flavors while the two female employees stood there and watched. Then once they’d decided, a very unfriendly employee chose that moment to tell us that they were closing early.
No apologies, not even another word was spoken. The “Open” sign outside was still lit. It was 13 minutes until closing time.
I’ve never experienced such rudeness from a business, particularly from a business whose clientele probably tends to mostly children.

I've been to several gourmet flavor popcorn businesses around the country. Usually, I'm not impressed with the depth of flavor, but that's not the case here. For really the first time, the popcorn really tasted like what it was. The selections are broad, and every flavor I tried hit home. Check them out. the samples are free.

Fantastic and surprising experience. The popcorn varieties are numerous. The ice cream is flavorful & refreshing with a unique flavor assortment. The store manager was extremely knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. Will give this establishment a 10/10!!

This experience was not so good customer service was fine..Lemon, blueberry was delicious but....puppy chow was too sweet and the kc kingdom small that I order was NOT fresh!!! Will I give it another try of course, but will be more selective when I see the popcorn totes (not air tight) sitting on the shelf - how long has that been sitting there?

I went here with my son for the first time after discovering it online. They have a large selection to choose from. They have sampling so you can taste them before you buy. And they have ice cream. It's a win-win.

Friendly staff and reasonable prices. You can sit inside and outside. Try the popcorn and ice cream ? they taste great.

Let's talk about this poppin' business in Overland Park, Kansas! If you love popcorn and/or ice cream, this spot is right up your alley! Right when you walk in, you are instantly hit with the delicious smell of flavorful popcorn. There is an entire wall with a variety of different flavors ranging from salty, sweet, and everything in between. You can stick with the classics: like butter, cheese, and caramel . You can go the sweet route and try strawberry, blueberry, grape, and even more fruity flavors. There are chocolate covered popcorn options for our chocolate lovers. My two favorites: the dill pickle and the fried pickle popcorn flavors. I also ordered the caramel cheesy and buttery combined flavor. Admittedly, I tried just about all of the flavors and there was not a single one I didn't like. Along with popcorn, I ordered a cup of Rocky Road ice cream...and of course it was delicious. If you simply love Popcorn, or if you were looking for a great gift in the Kansas City area, this is the spot for you to pop in to.
