Saki Asian Restaurant

We came in tonight and it was our first visit but it definitely won’t be our last. We moved here from Florida about 2 years ago and have been searching for a sushi spot that is just as good as our favorite place back home and hadn’t found it untill tonight. This was hands down the freshest sushi we’ve had in KC. Everything including the fast friendly and knowledgeable staff was outstanding. One person in our party has never been a sushi eater, just recently started trying new things and still wasn’t sure about it but that changed tonight.

How to describe Saki? Wonderland. For many years I went to the location on 64th and I29 and always loved it. Yet somehow the new opening on n. Oak has surpassed it. The location is a little smaller, but the quality and service is even better. I've tried the Sushi and Asian entrees in all of the KC area on both sides of the line as well as in about half of the country and you won't find fresher sushi or more flavorful entrees. The crab wontons are to die for, the edamame is amazingly fresh and warm. The honey crisp chicken and fried rice are amazing. The desert cakes and sesame balls couldn't be fresher. If you aren't in the parking lot yet there is something wrong with you. Seriously I couldn't recommend Saki more.

the fried rice is top notch!!!! so good. I take it home and put yum yum sauce on top and it blows my mind. they also have real crab rangoon which is such a nice addition to the deliciousness.

Never been here before today. Everything was great-the food, the prices, the service and the atmosphere. I will be back! I had the Kung Pao chicken with fried rice and crab rangoon.

Their sushi is delicious. The customer service is top notch.

Being from New York now living in olathe Kansas this is what I'm talking about..service was om point find came out fast and hot...we r so full but coming back fir the sushi...we will b here next week and the week after that....A MUST TRY

Took my son here to try and were not disappointed. Small but didn't matter due to sushi tasted so fresh and delightful. Ordered crab wanton as an appetizer and also salmon, yellowtail and tuna and yummy rolls. Very well done and I will be back! Spoke with owner, very friendly and helpful in giving his suggestions. Definitely top sushi in KC area.

I only had sushi upon my first visit, but it was solid. The service was great - very kind, very friendly. I would recommend the sushi, and will be back to try some of their other food. It's more like a take-out place, although there are about five booths so you can eat in, but the ambience is definitely more "takeout".

This place is ridiculously overpriced for how disgusting it is! Everything about it gave me an immediate sense of unease. The floor was filthy, the restaurant had a terrible odor, and the manager was incredibly rude. I ordered two rolls—the Drunken Shrimp and the Dynamite Roll. The Drunken Shrimp didn't taste awful, but it fell apart the moment I tried to pick it up; there was no structure to it at all. The Dynamite Roll was a sad, mushy pile that looked like dog food. I took a bite, and it tasted even worse than it looked. I called to request an exchange or refund since I ordered takeout, and the manager was dismissive and condescending. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully as a customer.

Great new (to us!) Sushi place! Miso soup is fantastic, portions are huge and prices are really good! The service is impeccable!

Absolutely loved it. My family has a hard time finding gluten-free restaurants. And finding a gluten-free Asian restaurant is amazing. The staff was great and the food was excellent. We will be back!!!
