I don’t know who runs this Schlotzsky’s, but they deserve an award. Hands down, this is the best fast food experience I’ve ever had—if you can even call it fast food. Every time I go, it’s consistently great, and the level of attention to detail is honestly ridiculous.
When I walked in, someone literally ran to the register to make sure I was greeted and ready to order. I’ve never seen anything like it. And the organization? Next level. Every condiment packet, every straw, every napkin—perfectly lined up like someone took the time to make sure everything was facing the same way. It’s one of those little things that tells you this place is run by people who actually care.
On top of that, they’ve never messed up my order—not once. The food is always fresh, made exactly how I asked, and just hits the spot every time. The sandwiches are legit, but even beyond that, the whole experience is just smooth. It’s rare to find a place that’s this consistent.
And the cleanliness? Unreal. This place is spotless—not just clean, but sparkling. The tables, floors, drink station—everything looks like it’s been scrubbed down constantly. Add in the fact that everyone working here is genuinely friendly and welcoming, and it just puts the whole experience over the top.
If every restaurant operated like this, the world would be a better place.

Shlotzkys went bankrupt a few decades ago. It was a joy for me that they made a comeback. My favorite is the deluxe original on sour dough. Half I put their hot sauce on and the other half I don't, just a thing I do.. Been going to this one from their opening. If I'm working on this side of town I DEFINITELY stop here. The manager and staff are always friendly.

Today, efficient taking order, fast drive through line, fast food, correct food. Before fast and accurate and clean inside Accurate and delicious food even when delivered. I love the pick two option. Choosing is not my strong suit.

If you're a fan of Schlotskys like I am. Try the location at 120th and Metcalf in Overland Park, KS. I've been there three times recently and the food is so much fresher and better prepared then other Schlotskys that I've been to. The service is great as well.

I was really expecting something bad, I don't even know why. I left with such a positive attitude I'm confused. The place, super clean? The food, very fast? The staff, very nice? Is this out of the norm for Kansas? I think so.
Not your average sandwich shop, this is an operation that actually cares. Give it a try, I know there's a lot of bad, but here's one that's good...

If you are ever in need for catering birthday parties or Chiefs gatherings, I wholeheartedly recommend choosing Schlotzsky's Overland Park. The sandwich variety was the highlight; and don't skip the dessert they can assist as well.
I and my husband had t-mobile app and coupon and reward and we wanted to get two sandwiches from this restaurant , but unfortunately the cashier didn't not give us the order after wasting our time for 30 minutes , he said the app doesn't work and we left the restaurant without anything .
