My Mom & I heard great things about this restaurant, so we went there for lunch on my birthday. To be honest, we were not impressed after all the hype. The woman who took our order was rude, she would not acknowledge us when my Mom asked for some soy sauce, so another woman brought it to us. The food had barely any flavor, the crab rangoon was overly greasy, and we waited for over 15 minutes to get our check when there were only 3 other patrons in the dining room. We will not be returning.

This should be the only Chinese restaurant you should be eating at. Wide variety of authentic szechuan dishes and really great service.

This is my favorite authentic Chinese spot in the Kansas City area! I used to live in China, so I’m always looking for great, authentic Chinese food, and this is the spot!

Best Shichuan food in the Kansas-Missouri area. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!
The pork pad Thai was very interesting. The pork and sauce had a very good flavor and the quantity of food equaled three or four meals. But it was packed full of noodles, many wads that were stuck together. There were very large pieces of boc choy and a few minor pieces of carrots, but not enough pork or vegetables for the amount of noodles. My friends got broccoli beef and another pad Thai that was the same. I'm glad I tried the restaurant for the first time, but I will not be going to this restaurant again.

Just go, the food will speak for itself. I’ve ordered many dishes off the sichuan side and have never been disappointed. It’s my favorite Chinese food and I’ve been to a lot from Alaska to Massachusetts.

Incredible food, helpful staff and the tofu options were AMAZING.
Vegetarian options: The tofu dishes were fresh and crispy. I went back 2 days later for more.

I didn't think I liked Chinese food and this place completely changed my mind. The amount and quality of food I got for what I paid was incredible. Every bite of food was mind blowingly flavorful and I never wanted it to end. Plus the service was very good. I will be a return customer without a doubt.

We tried this restaurant due to the high reviews but the tofu we got was not great. We ordered crispy (appetizer), home style, kung pao and Szechuan tofu. The Szechuan was incredibly dry and I was shocked that it didn't come with any vegetables even though it's listed under tofu and vegetables. The kung pao was the best of the several with the homestyle coming in next, but the homestyle was just lacking in flavor. The crispy tofu was okay but it was covered in black pepper which wasn't enjoyable. It really was overdoing it. And all the tofu (except homestyle) pieces were cut so small that when they fried them you lost pretty much all of the nice tofu texture. All crisp...no fluff, not much flavor. Sigh.
