We ordered Pad Thai, Chicken Lo Mein, Spicy Dumplings and Crab Rangoon. Everything was very good and came out fast, possibly cause we were very early dining at 4:45. As you can see the portion size is enormous. Four star for service because no one really came back to our table after we ordered, except to bring our food and then our ticket.

I had a good feeling about this place when I saw a few more classical/authentic American Chinese options. The bonus was how quick the food came out, it truly beggars belief. It's maybe not as cheap as the cheapest Chinese places but the portions are generous. For quick, quality, Chinese in a pleasant clean dining space? This is hard to beat.

In my experience, the dishes on the American Chinese menu are very hit or miss (mostly miss). Stick the authentic menu and you won't be disappointed.
...our go-to Sichuan fare in the KCMO proper...helpful and attentive wait staff...spacious enough to have restaurant vibes but homey enough to exude mom-n-pop feel...❤️...

The milk and honey shrimp were amazing, The crab Rangoons were also good.
But the lo mein tasted so weird and off, I couldn’t even finish it.
The fried rice and sesame chicken were bland.
Just not worth the price overall
