Really enjoyed the food!Only negative was that I asked for 3 to-go boxes but the waitress said 2 boxes would be enough, which I've never been told at a restaurant before. So we had to mix leftovers from different people sitting at the table. The restaurant saved a few pennies by only giving us two boxes but it was rude.

Honestly some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. I believe they're the only restaurant in Overland Park, possibly even the whole state, that has a menu specifically dedicated to authentic Sichuan recipes. Me and my friends ordered the spicy tofu, the chunking shrimp, and the sichuan pork belly and everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. You could tell the meals were prepared with love and we even got to talk to the owners! Jim and June were friendly and even walked us to the door after we paid. Having wanted to try authentic Chinese food for a while, I must say that visiting here was a worthy endeavor. Will absolutely come again. 10/10

The food was delicious, very fresh and tasty. I had moo goo gai pan which had the right, fresh ingredients cooked well, and my wife had Hunan chicken, which she liked very much. They only ordered white rice with the dinner where I would have preferred brown or fried rice. They only offered black tea, not green or Jasmine. Service was good but not really great. Prices were very good IMO. I would go there again.

Came in on a Sunday night around 6pm and it was mostly full. They offer a Chinese American menu and a traditional Chinese menu! So many choices. I enjoyed the twice cooked pork and Singaporean noodles, I probably won't order the dry hotpot again since it was small for the price and mediocre. The hot chili oil wasn't spicy but added extra flavor on the side. I'm definitely coming back to try their other traditional dishes!

Tried this place for the first time and it was really good! I liked how the pork fried rice wasn't overly flavorful or salty and was able to add soy sauce to make it just how I like it. The roasted duck was also really good, they literally give you the whole half of the duck so all bones and meat were included which means no skimping! Very delicious and generous portions!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs

The lady who owns this restaurant and her staff are friendly only towards certain customers and treat me and my wife like dirt every time we come here. This place deserves to go out of business.

Always freshly made cuisine and a nice small business. They tend to get busy with dine in and to go orders though handle it well.

Heard good things about this restaurant, but overall we were unimpressed. We wanted Sichuan food, and this was one of the highest rated Sichuan places in KC (If not the only one). When we arrived at the restaurant, it took several minutes for us to get seated, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Looking over the menu I saw many of the dishes I would expect from Sichuanese cuisine, so it seemed relatively authentic. However, food itself was lacking, and definitely not up to the standards I'd typically expect for Sichuan food. The water spinach tasted old and looked old - when freshly cooked, it resembles a brighter green color. Noodles were somewhat bland, and the cumin beef lacked depth and flavor. Usually when I get cumin beef, there's good aromas and spices that add to the dish - this version just tasted like pure cumin seasoning with some onions. The fish was decent; somewhat salty but passable. Restaurant itself feels spacious, with both dining tables and booths. Overall, for the price we paid and the quality of the food, I don't think I would return unless I was desperately craving some type of Sichuan food. If you go here, the food is fine, but don't give up on Sichuan food if this is your first and only experience.

Eat at this restaurant! Incredible and authentic food.Hung out here on a rainy Sunday and it was very relaxed — staff were very kind and friendly.I ordered:Spicy dumplings (out of this world)The Sichuan green beansBraised pork belly riceMai cai hot pot w/vegetables and rice on the side (this dish is very spicy and cleared out my sinuses in no time, it is full of healthy veggies so it’s perfect for winter colds!)And I had leftovers for days :)I will definitely be back here!

This is our go to delivery for Chinese. We usually get the same things but have branched out recently and have been pleased. Their veggie dishes are great. Every now and then something is a bit amiss, but otherwise it's pretty good and always hits the spot, and delivery times are always under an hour.

Great food, bad service. They cuss at you in Chinese while you’re eating. Especially the lady at the counter.
