Update: Came back for the Harvest and it's all curvy lettuce with little else. Downgrading my review from 5 to a 2-stars. I told them I was unsatisfied and they failed to correct it. You decide with my side-by-side comparison. The Harvest Salad at Solstice, served with impeccable charm by Simon, was a delightful symphony of textures and flavors.

I had an excellent salmon BLT (no bun) with a side salad. The salmon was tender, moist and had tremendous flavor with the slices of avocado & bacon. Excellent food!

Waited half an hour for a mediocre sandwich. Apparently they just forgot to make it. When I asked about my order I watched them make it start to finish in about 30 seconds toss it on a plate and put it on the counter without so much as a sorry for the wait or that we forgot to make your order. Poor customer service. Overpriced. Mediocre food.

Overpriced! For an eatery in a food hall, where the overhead cost is lower than traditional restaurants, Cobb Salad costs $16 + tax+ tips. Also, the pictures of the food is deceiving - what you receive is not assembled in the same manner or quantity.

Delicious!!! Good quality, great service. There are also a lot of different choices at Strang Hall for everyone.

I am with a volleyball club from Chicago that arranged to have several U15, U16 and U17 teams eat an early lunch at Strang Hall while in town for the Triple Crown volleyball tournament in mid-February. Michelle in events was wonderful to work with and helped us reserve the private room as well as additional seating for parents. Upon arrival, we found plenty of parking nearby. The space itself is lovely - modern, light, airy and has a wonderful upscale vibe. Outside space was fresh and lovely, but it was still too chilly to utilize. The food options are diverse and delicious while remaining economical. We found portions to be ample and overall a good value. Our group has every type of food allergy and dietary preference (Celiac/GF, DF, SF, Vegetarian, Vegan, picky eaters, clean-eating parents, etc.). All athletes and parents were so happy and satisfied with the selection, value and quality of their food -- so much so that we ate there two days in a row! Strang Hall is a team parent's dream!! I wish I lived nearby so I could dine there more frequently. We will be back next year! Highest possible recommendation given.

Enjoyed the Brie & Apple sandwich with a side of slaw. The sandwich was a perfect pick me up for my day, buttery toasted bread, sweet & savory brie, jam, & apple. Glad I grabbed two napkins, just sayin. My first trip to Strang Hall, too. I'll be back.

Been to Strang Hall a couple times in the past year, but last night will be our final time. The food quality in deteriorating. The staff behind the counters at the individual restaurants seemed "put out" did not smile or cared if you ordered from them.. The food portions are getting smaller and the idea of tipping before you even get your food is wrong. Particularly when you order and get the wrong sandwich. The price is 20% too high for what you get. The Venue is however great, so I am sorry to write a poor review, but could not encourage others to go anymore. We ordered 1 turkey BLT, 1 lg pepperoni pizza a side salad and 1 beer. Our bill was $76..

It’s unfortunate how far down hill this restaurant has gone. The cobb salad for $16 (!!!) that I got to go today was a poor excuse for a salad. Literally had a sprinkle of bacon, 6 tiny pieces of chicken, old overcooked eggs, and a about 5 cherry tomatoes. Shrinking portions and raising prices loses customers.

That salmon Blt was out of this world! The chips were way better than they needed to be too.

Great option for a late afternoon lunch. Had a flavorful and perfectly cooked Salmon Citrus Salad —it was appropriately portioned, but I happily could have eaten more!

This place is inside Strang hall. Paid $14 plus tip for a classic cobb. It looked nothing like the picture and had barely any of each ingredient, like three little pieces of avocado. Small for the price. If you can't do the salad the right way, either price it higher or take it off the menu. I saw someone get the steak salad only $2 more and it looked so much better, think this made it even worse because we were so sad to order the wrong thing.

Had the apple fennel walnut salad with salmon. It was beautifully prepared and tasted wonderful! P'tates offering was big enough for three; perfectly prepared with both types of aioli. I'll be back!

This is a nice layout and facility which has a real potential. The places look nice and the menus sound interesting, but after 4 visits in the 2 1/2 years they have been open, the food has been just average. They do not take cash. You must use credit cards or buy gift cards at the bar.
