One of our favorite places when everyone wants something different. Lots of variety from Chef driven restaurants. Favorites include Bahn Mi, Brie and Apple Sandwich and great tacos. It's similar to an adult food court but kids (and dogs in the outside space) are welcome. Lots of seating indoors and out. Offers a full bar and even a private space.

Interesting place. Food was a bit the same in the different booths and rather pricy. Great place though to meet friends on off meal time hours to chat and have a bit with lots of options.

Went to Chad Hughes chef tasting loved the Stroganoff I felt like I was in a high class setting. Great for a 1st date setting and you want to really impress the ladies. Can’t wait to go again, the wine pairing was great and the service was excellent. ?

We went to the 5 course plated dinner put on by Chef Chad Hughes from Fenix... and it was amazing. Enjoyed seeing some old school recipes and new school techniques made by a local chef. I am incredibly excited to see more to come!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a "Chef's Dinner" at this establishment on January 15, and I must say it was a culinary experience to remember! Chef Chad Hughes truly outdid himself, creating a feast that tantalized the taste buds and left a lasting impression. The menu was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, showcasing the chef's creativity and mastery of culinary artistry. From the poached prawn appitizer to the Star Anise "Cookies and Cream" dessert, each dish was thoughtfully crafted, perfectly portioned and was a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. The attention to detail was evident not only in the exquisite presentation of each dish but also in the seamless service provided by the staff. Multiple food allergies were present at my table, and the Chef and staff went above and beyond to make sure that not only were we fed, but that the dishes were just as good as the originals prepared for everyone else. The ambiance added to the overall charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that complemented the gastronomic journey. However, I would have preferred some light music and for the lights to be dimmer, respecting the one of a kind event taking place. What truly stood out for me was the chef's ability to balance innovation with familiarity. While some dishes pushed the boundaries of flavor combinations (star anise in ice cream, who knew?!?), they remained accessible and satisfying to a wide range of palates. The staff's attentive service enhanced the overall dining experience. The waitstaff was friendly, accommodating, and added a personal touch to the evening.I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a culinary adventure. Kudos to Chef Chad Hughes and the entire team for creating an evening filled with gourmand delights. I will undoubtedly be returning to savor more of their culinary creations in the future!

I went to a 5 coarse chef dinner at Fenix on Monday 1/15. To those who have never had an exclusive 5 course meal or tapas at that matter, each dish is portioned exactly how course meals are supposed to be and that is to be satisfied and not full. Which is exactly how I felt by the end and I weigh about 210lbs if that helps. When it was time for 5th and final course (dessert), I had the perfect amount of space in my stomach left for it. They had a classy atmosphere with soft subtle jazz music playing. As for the food, I think 75 per person is a deal compared that of places that do a similar style of dining (small plate/tapas) around the KC area. You could tell each dish was meticulously arranged and that each ingredient served a purpose and wasn’t just thrown on for visual appeal. Every flavor hit and they were even able to compensate for food allergies. Over all, I would highly suggest you get tickets anytime one of these meals are presented over at Strang Hall. Chef Chad did an exceptional job and would rate this dinner and experience with 3 claps and a Rick Flare. (5 Stars)

Had tickets to Chef Chads dinner, was really an excellent experience even with the cold weather. The creative takes on classic food gave a very upscale yet comforting experience. Good show all around from service, to pairings, and to execution of a successful event.

I always love what I get here. There are so many delicious options and the menu changes now and then. There are also specials that offer more options. My only dislike is the prices, for me, it's a little expensive, but it is always really good.

The chicken tinga was absolutely delicious. The food that my friend got looked beautiful. They present their food like gourmet food on beautiful plates and present it beautifully but what's the best part is the taste. I can't say enough about the food and how it tasted. I am hardly ever wowed by food since I usually just eat it to fuel my body from food but this was easy on the pallet and felt nice on the tummy!? Very comforting! I can't say enough really!
