I was visiting from Iowa and stumbled upon this delightful gem of a coffee shop—what a find! The space is bright, welcoming, and full of friendly energy.
I ordered a breakfast burrito, and wow—it was seriously the BEST authentic Mexican burrito I’ve ever had. Packed with flavor and absolutely delicious! We also grabbed some energy bites, which were the perfect tasty snack.
We couldn’t resist doing a flight to sample their specialty drinks, and every one was a hit!
Must-tries: • Raspberry Moon Drop – A refreshing balance of tart and sweet. So bright and unique! • Spicy Chai – A standout! The spice sneaks up on you in the best way. If you’re a chai fan, don’t miss this. • Lavender Moon – Smooth and creamy with the perfect soft hint of lavender. The moon milk truly elevates it!
Every sip and bite was memorable. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town!
Fun fact- I learned that DARK ROASTED coffee has less caffeine than light roast as well so you can have the extra cup! 😂

Stopped in for coffee and breakfast sandwich before work, and the barista named Cal was very welcoming as he took my order and prepared my drink. Perfect spot to grab coffee and breakfast if you work in the Overland Park area.

Amazingly I only live about a block and a half away from this place but somehow it had stayed off my radar. After reading about the coffee and their specialty Moon milk, I knew I wanted to try it out someday. Today was that day! Now I'm a little concerned that it's only a block and a half away because I loved it 🤭😁 78 ° here today so I opted for an iced 1/2 Winter Moon Latte (that all gets explained when you're there). It was great! I love the coffee itself the richness and the flavor and the moon milk is magic! The atmosphere is welcoming, as were the baristas, comfortable and modern but with warm touches. If you like your coffee drinks to actually taste of coffee not just a bunch of sugary gunk masking over roasted coffee, highly recommend! (The over roasted coffee comment is in reference to other places, you know the ones, not Summer Moon. ☺️)

First time guest… Was down the street waiting to pick up my car from fixing a recall and changing the oil at Mccarthy Chevrolet and decided to walk up the street after about an hour of waiting… Saw Summer moon coffee and decided to check it out… I explained I had never been here and the barista was more than informative and Helped me pick out one of the best iced coffee drinks I’ve ever had! I too am a former barista so that’s saying a lot… I will 100% be telling people about this place and I will be back! Also, try their homemade rice crispy treats just to the right of the register… It is so yummy! She even gave me a sample of their homemade Sweet cream!

They protein ball tastes great, and so did the summer mon matcha that I ordered. Might have been the best matcha I’ve ever had. Friendly staff although very distractible. The place was bigger than expected, comfy seats. The internet connection wasn’t very good for me though.

This is my favorite coffee shop in town! Their cold brew and moon milk is the best in town. I just wish you would open up a new location in South Overland Park!
Not a lot of food options, but they do carry some kind pastries and tacos and some seasonal items. Other than that though, coffee was solid and the workers were super polite and helpful with us when we ordered. The space was super clean and a good amount of seating options.

Summer Moon is such a fantastic spot! I absolutely love their Moon Milk—it adds such a unique, creamy sweetness to their coffee that makes every drink feel special. It's the perfect place to enjoy a delicious cup while getting some work done or studying. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating for both solo work or meeting up with friends. The staff is always friendly, and the vibe is just right for getting things done or relaxing. If you're looking for a great coffee shop, Summer Moon is definitely worth checking out!
