The restaurant will be closed as of Tuesday April 12th. Their menu is limited and they are running out of many items. We've been to this location many times. Have had great service and have referred many. Tonight was ABSOLUTELY the worst experience in a restaurant that I've ever had. Our waitress did her best to help us. My wife asked to speak with the manager. She ended up talking with Jason Stevens the owner. He seemed pleasant at first. I simply told him I didn't feel like they should be charging us full price when they didn't have everything available for the meal that I purchased. $16 for two tortillas lined with a few pieces of shrimp was a bit much given that they came out cold and with no sides since they had ran out of what my daughter wanted. I didn't even bring up that our burgers were overcooked. At this point Jason told me to "**** off" turned around, flipped me off and told me to "get the f*** out of his restaurant". All of this in front of my children. At no point did I raise my voice, and at no point did I use vulgar language. I calmly told him how I felt after having a terrible dinner. Jason, I am sorry that the family business is coming to an end. I guess the stress simply got to you and you took it out on my family. Good luck with whatever your family decides to do next.
Great dinner! We had the hot, soft pretzel for an appetizer, I loved the cheese dip, hubby loved the mustard. We both had the steak tacos, they were absolutely amazing and even had leftovers. So happy to support local businesses.

Tabard's is an excellent restaurant. This meal was our first visit, and we will definitely be going back. This will now be one of our top choices in Overland Park. The service was excellent. The jambalaya was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Been here before. Food was good. The only complaint at our table was the Avocado toast for brunch. It was like an avocado spread, not real avocado and it truly lacked flavor. Other than that service was good and we enjoyed the rest of the meal.

Tabard's is everything we hoped for and more. It has all the feels of a hometown pub with great brews on tap and delicious food. Our server was the sweetest and very attentive. This would be a great place to catch a game and relax.
We had the fish and chip in the cage and pasta and our friends had the Cobb salad and the roast beef. Of course we had the broccoli wings which were to die for. This is an excellent restaurant locally and family owned we would recommend it for everyone!

Can't speak of the music as could not hear it over the audience noise. Seating was fine, roomy booth, and comfortable. Would suggest removal of the "step up" to the table as it is a chance to miss your step when exiting and falling. Food was very good and we knew that it would be from previous visits, always good and fair priced.

Service was decent. It was the worst food I've ever eaten and I'm not joking when I say that. Told my waitress and the chief came out and gave us the food for free which was good on them. The “Canadian inspired Poutine” is just mushrooms with shredded cheese FYI. Overall 1.5/10

Wonderful experience all the way around! Nice variety on the menu, food was excellent, and service was top-notch. The owner even stopped by our table to check on us! We were seated immediately, food arrived quickly. We are from out of town and visit the area often. So glad to find this local gem. Will return soon!

The kebabs are amazing - all of the food we have had here is so good, but we dream of the pork skewers with that sauce. The owner is super friendly and all of our service there has been on point. Highly recommend.
