I stumbled upon this place, searching for a snowcone place, as my daughter and I are visiting family, coming from southern Alabama! 10/10 place! There are lots of flavors to choose from, way more than I could imagine, very quick, and easy-going people working!! Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be coming back!! We're working on 100 Things To Do This Summer, and I'm so glad to mark this off!!
Friendly staff, they are very, very busy. They could use 3 people vs two working for them. Everyone needs to remember what its like working a summer job, be patient with them. They are working as fast as they can. The product is perfect for the hot weather.
My husband has been trying to get me to go to Tad's for over 2 years, and I always resisted on the basis of not wanting a "Sno-Cone." Well, don't tell him this, but he was right. This shaved ice was a delightful treat and nothing like the snow cones of my childhood. I was impressed with the enormous amount of varieties and flavors to choose from, and it was fun to just sit in the car and chat with each other while we enjoyed our frozen treats.
