A great place for breakfast. Love the big fluffy biscuits. Very good coffee here too.

Food is usually very tasty but I ordered scrambled eggs well done and hashbrowns. Well done scrambled eggs were running and the hashbrowns were half cooked. They did offer me to bring it back, but who wants to do that after you've already gotten home?
Post-ECT breakfast bliss.
Went with my mom right after my early-morning ECT treatment — I’m always starving afterward, so “The Titanic” omelet felt appropriate. And wow… it delivered. 2200 calories, Zero regrets!
A massive four-egg omelet packed with diced ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, hash browns, and cheddar — topped with a biscuit and sausage gravy. Every bite has a little of everything because they chop it perfectly. No lazy, chunky bites here. Comfort food done right.
The pumpkin pancake (limited time) was also fantastic — more cinnamon than pumpkin, but soft, warm, and perfect with whipped cream (I skipped the syrup).
Mom went the “light” route with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and a biscuit — she wasn’t a fan of the biscuit, (too dry, floury) and said it didn’t compare to Chick-fil-A’s superior buttery version. My biscuit was fine; the gravy was solid but not standout.
Service was super kind and honest, coffee was meh, but overall? Worth every bite and every calorie.
Ratings:
🥇 Titanic Omelet — 5/5
🥞 Pumpkin Pancake — 4.5/5
☕ Coffee — 2/5
🍳 Mom’s breakfast — 1/5 (she’s tough to please)
. Good food, friendly, honest staff, bright interior with a nostalgic vibe. I’ll definitely be back — though probably for the Titanic only, and with a nap scheduled right after.

I was disappointed when I got my food. No sausage in the biscuit and gravy. It was watery and thin. The cook put gravy on my hash browns, no thanks! Very disappointed breakfast. My server took my order and checked once on me, long enough to drop off my check. I don't know if I can give this restaurant a second chance.

Josie continues to be one of the best servers I have ever encountered. She makes our family breakfast special every Saturday.

Waitress has the worst attitude and eye rolls at absolutely everything. I asked for a water and she scoffed and rolled her eyes. Nothing wrong with big biscuit food.

Josie was really wonderful and very polite. Josie you’re amazing. Great personality and just a cheerful smile that can bring warmth to such a negative situation. Keep up your good work.

Ormetta was a wonderful server. She did a great job and made sure we were well taken care of. She did so well that my fiancé has been here 2 days in a row and she was his server both times. So far The Big Biscuit has had the best breakfast we have had in the KC area! Highly recommend it and ask for Ormetta she will take good care of you.
