We came in during a 1-hour intermission from an activity we were doing down the road, for a quick bite. We had to holler for the bartender, after about 10 minutes of waiting and watching her walk around and be playful with other guests, behind the bar. After we got her attention and ordered food, everything is great. They were doing some sort of video bingo that we ultimately ended up participating in. It seems like something I'd really love to come back to sometime! Giving it five stars because it appeared the table service was much more tenacious than the bar service and if I were to come in to dine in the future, I would sit at the table. Atmosphere and entertainment was top notch. Food was good;

It's one of the better burger joints in this area, and has had a great reputation for years. The service was very prompt, friendly, and correct, as usual. I like the atmosphere here because it is smaller than some places and has a nice warm cozy feeling. They actually had one of my favorite local dark beers on tap, which was a nice surprise.

It’s a nice, relaxing vibe. Good for a nice hangout with friends. Can have more background sound with everyone talking, but also means a good place for you and friends to talk and laugh. Food was average.

My fiance and I are huge supporters of The peanut at both the Mission location and the Metcalf location! Tonight 04/04/2025 my fiance and I wanted to sit down and have dinner at the Metcalf location @ 8:30pm. Normal Friday night dinner rush, nothing crazy. A bus girl was nice enough to help us get drinks since no other waitress decided to help us. After we got our drinks, the nice lady said OUR waitress will be here to help us. 10-15 minutes later, we got up and left. No one helped us. Waitresses are talking to other tables around us. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened to my fiance and I at this location. Probably will not be going back again. Thankfull of the bus girl that helped us even though we were not in her seating section.

The Peanut is what a sports bar should be: good food, good service, and a casual atmosphere.
We recently had a large group after a Chiefs game. The staff took great care of us. Food arrived at the same time. All of it was good. The waitress made sure everyone had what they needed throughout the meal.
The Peanut is our favorite in the KC area.

I come for BLT salad and 'new mgmt' decided that they were wasting too much food so they turned it into a side salad but are charging the same amount. Not cool or appreciated

Always have a great time at the peanut….but they advertise a reverse happy hour and then when you get your tab the price does not reflect the prices on the menu! I tried to find someone to email instead of leaving a review because I don’t normally like to do this but I couldn’t find anything. I’m not hurting for money, but if your prices are listed on the menu they should be the same as we are paying for. Hope you all can get this fixed!!
