The Peanut is what a sports bar should be: good food, good service, and a casual atmosphere.

We recently had a large group after a Chiefs game. The staff took great care of us. Food arrived at the same time. All of it was good. The waitress made sure everyone had what they needed throughout the meal.

The Peanut is our favorite in the KC area.

I come for BLT salad and 'new mgmt' decided that they were wasting too much food so they turned it into a side salad but are charging the same amount. Not cool or appreciated

Always have a great time at the peanut….but they advertise a reverse happy hour and then when you get your tab the price does not reflect the prices on the menu! I tried to find someone to email instead of leaving a review because I don’t normally like to do this but I couldn’t find anything. I’m not hurting for money, but if your prices are listed on the menu they should be the same as we are paying for. Hope you all can get this fixed!!

Plan accordingly. This place was packed for a Kstate football game. Being from out of state I had no idea it would be so full. Service and food was good.

I wasn't impressed...just like 90 percent of all the rest bar/ restaurant joints. I got chicken tenders... The tenders were pretty good size but it was pretty standard as well... We went there because it was close to work...

After a jiu-jitsu tournament, there's one thing I want more than anything in the whole world - a good burger and an ice cold beer - and that's exactly what I got at The Peanut. I ordered a bacon cheese burger, sweet potato fries and a beer. I got regular fries, but honestly, I was too hungry to care. The burger tasted great. The bacon slices were large. The waitress was friendly. Overall, it really hit the spot. Thank you!

This place ruined my life - I wish I were joking and I wish that were an exaggeration, but unfortunately it's not. My girlfriend and I went here about a year ago. We had heard good things so we were excited. Food tasted fine, server was nice, everything seemed great. Until about 6 hours later. Both of us start throwing up buffalo chicken for the next 2 days. It was awful and I'll probably never eat buffalo chicken again. If that were the extent of what happened, I probably wouldn't be here writing this review right now. But hear I am, a year later, dealing with major health implications that were brought on because of the food poisoning we got from the peanut. For the last year I've been dealing with GERD, unable to eat certain foods, unable to sleep most nights, unbearable heartburn 24/7. I lived a normal life until I visited the peanut and now I am in an unhealthy miserable state every single day.

Like all Peanut locations, they offer the same menu and ambiance. I personally like the downtown location best. Their wings seem tastier than the others for some reason, but that might just be me.

Always great service and food. Got a favorite; Triple BLT with fries no seasoning. BLT was came with bacon with slight crispness, fresh L & T. Fries were cooked through and also had a slight snap to them. Perfect. Awesome service.

I have yet to have a bad experience with the multiple visits I have in a given month. Servers are always present, the iconic wings are always fresh and huge for the amount you pay for. During the usual rushes it can get really loud, but you can still talk to people within your table. Overall, great place to check out!

Great little Sports Bar. Food was awesome. Chiefs game on, Twins and Royals game. The best part was our waitress Tracy. Happy, Bubbly, and a lot of fun. We will be back.
