The best wings, hands down. Trivia nights are always fun. A consistent space that never disappoints with good service, fun atmosphere, and really good comfort food. This is our goto place on the way home from the airport.

Even a quick acknowledgment from staff — a friendly hello or a “I’ll be with you shortly” — goes a long way; being ignored for 10+ minutes can be frustrating. That said, the food is consistently good, and the wings are an absolute must-try. While we wish the outdoor patio were larger, the location in old OP naturally limits the available space. Overall, The Peanut remains a beloved Kansas City staple, offering great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a true local vibe.
