The food was very bland. It was a cross between Hospital food and the golden corral. You could tell most of the food came from US food or Sysco, premade food with no seasoning. The service was great, server was very sweet and very nice, very attentive. The host and the buster were all really great as well. The food, however, was just not good at all. Definitely will not be back.

Both food and service last night at Trofi restaurant at the Doubletree were excellent. We'd return in the confidence we'd have another wonderful evening.

Dessert was fantastic but the mains were ok. The rest of my party had the clam chowder appetizer which was apparently as stellar as the desserts. Staff was very attentive.

You can't go wrong here. I was as skeptical as the rest... over priced hot food with limited quantity. The portions were more than ample. But the menu selections was what stood out. There was something there for everybody. And the flavors were like a more expensive brand.

Service was outstanding. First time trying this restaurant. I would go back and try some different dishes. German Chocolate Cake was fantastic

The food was okay. It is a typical hotel restaurant. We were the only people in the restaurant for most of the meal.

As always another 10/10 experience with our server Walter! we've been celebrating our friendsmas get together here at the hotel for the last 3 years and even a few birthdays and Walt and Phil have time and time again given absolutely outstanding service ! Walt in particular is very quick friendly and knowledgeable about the menu ! Definitely same time next year ! And thank you again 🤞

This is the second time we've eaten at Trofi Restaurant. We had a wonderful time we were there celebrating our 36th anniversary back in October. The second time was on December 24th my husband's 70th birthday. Once again we totally enjoyed our time. Walter, the waiter attentively met all our needs. The ambience was great and we had a wonderful time because of his service to us.

Prices initially seem a little high, but when they deliver the food and you see the portions you will have no complaints. Great food, big portions, and amazing service.

I have traveled to Overland Park for work from time to time, and the Doubletree hotel is by far the best hotel in the area and that is because of the Trofi restaurant onsite. The aesthetic is classy, clean, and visually appealing, and the food is great. However, it’s truly the staff that makes Trofi an establishment that keeps customers coming back. Phil is absolutely FANTASTIC! He engages with customers in a way that makes his customer service exceptional - he remembers little details about us months later which creates true connections. Not to mention, he has a great personality. By the same token, Walter is awesome! His humor and personality brings such a fun vibe to the restaurant. The two of them together, talk about a dream team! I will never stay elsewhere in the area because of this place feeling like home away from home and making work travel such a pleasant experience.

When they say Crispy Waffle, they mean it. Crispiest waffle I have ever had. Bacon was cooked perfectly.

This gem was introduced to me by former Mayor of Overland Park, Carl Gerlach. A quiet place to meet with consistently great food. Once again, I had a wonderful steak and enjoyed an easy conversation with friends.

I had the Omaha Reuben with French Fries. Your choice of Corned Beef or Turkey, I got the CB. Very generous portions. The Thousand Island dressing complimented the tangy sauerkraut. The cheese was warm and nicely melted over the tender Corned Beef. The bread held up well and did not get too soggy. The fries had a nice homestyle flavor and just crispy enough.

Overall, a great Reuben and a great value at $17. Very filling so no room for dessert. Friendly service and one of my best hotel meals. None better anywhere if you love Reubens.

A hidden gem located inside the Doubletree Hotel. The food is delicious, and they have some unique cocktails on the drink menu. What topped it all off was the excellent service. Phil and Walter are true gentlemen, and Karen is a peach.
