No, it's not the best bbq in town, but it's better then some of the other old schools that have been around for years.12 99 for a 4 course brisket dinner. Onion rings are

The girl working the bar,had a cough and kept coughing and not covering her mouth,I hope I don't catch something from her. The food was terrible, the fries and onion rings were cooked in old grease, tasted burnt. The beef sandwich, had burnt meat on it,tasted awful, wish I would of saved my 30bucks and ate at home..I'm getting ready to call and complain and take my food back and get my money back,of course I don't have a receipt because I told her to throw it away didn't think I would need it,I thought the food was going to be good like it used to be..very unsatisfied...

Meh…. Their pricing online is incorrect. What I thought was a $30 ended up being $60…

I ordered and paid for a whole chicken and they only gave me half of my order. The waitress made NO ATTEMPT to correct the problem. I will never go back there again. Top it off the chicken was dry out and chewy. Don't waste your money!

This place is a disgrace to BBQ in Kansas City. Food was dry and tasteless. In a city with the best BBQ in the world, there is no reason to ever come here.

I ordered a beef and turkey on a bun. Beef was greasy and fatty. Turkey was good.

Burnt end sando was tender and moist. I prefer mine cubed rather than chopped and the flavor signature of the sauce isn't for me, but those are personal opinions and I will not give a negative review based on my personal preferences. Nice staff, big portions, reasonably priced, and good quality meat.

Wyandot was closed for almost a year after a fire at the end of 2021. Often temporary closures following restaurant fires turn out to be permanent, or if the establishments do reopen, they are almost unrecognizable, with different decor and menus. This is not the case with Wyandot. They're still serving up generous portions of great barbecue and tasty sides, at relatively reasonable prices!! The rib dinner continues to be my favorite--a large portion of delicious ribs, accompanied by hot, crisp fries, very good baked beans, fresh slaw and two pieces of bread!! I generally consume the fries, half the ribs and other sides and get at least another full meal from the leftovers.

I just recently started eating here at Wyandotte barbecue on 75th and Metcalf and I have to say I’m impressed with this location. The food has been hot and fresh on both visits and the staff has been nice and they are super fast. I love burnt ends and they’re burnt meal is reasonably priced and is super tasty. The barbecue sauce is pretty good I highly recommend it.

We were visiting from out of state and are very unimpressed. My burnt ends were literally not edible. They were so dried out and hard like a rock that I couldn't chew them. They also have zero seasoning on them and no flavor. The onion rings were alright, nothing special. Our kids got the cheeseburgers and could barely chew them, they were so incredibly burnt and dried out. My husband got the ribs and said they were really good, and our oldest got the chicken dinner and said it was good, and we got our food very quickly, which is why I'm giving this place 2 stars.
