One of the few applebees left in KC metro area. Food is good, warm, and most of the time fresh. Not sure how the area is but I surely did feel weird or uncomfortable dinning in. The white people there stared and gave me and my girl looks. Haven't felt racism in the air in a while like that, definitely will keep getting my food to go. Seems clean from a glance.

The service was awful. We had to ask for everything we needed with a table with 3 kids at it. We were not even offered the opportunity to order an appetizer. I had to flag down server to get her to take the order. After an hour of waiting for our food again I had to flag down the server to ask her for an update on when we would get our meals. We then got dry, cold food that had clearly been sitting in the expo window for quite a while. Will not return.

First off, the staff is always very friendly. When I was with friends after a football game and had no money, they offered to give me free drinks which I gladly accepted. The food is always tasty and warm and the bathrooms and tables are always clean. Awesome place to go!

We try to go here once a year and each time we wait forever to be be seated. Once we do get seated, if we do not leave first, other people will get seated while we wait for someone to take our drink order. Then those people get their drink orders before we do. This time, we sat there and waited while 3 to 4 servers sat around talking and laughing. When one server did try and get someone to take their table, it became a debate. It seems like no one thwre except one or 2 people want to work. We waited while they tried to hash it out and still no one came. So we left. We would love to eat something besides Mexican food when we have a night I don't want to cook. No sense of urgency and no care in the world about their customers time.

We were seated very quickly. Our waitress was nice but hovered. She finally brought 2 meals that were incorrect. She plated a meal that was supposed to be to go. She brought the last meal and the appetizer out last. Only one meal was made correctly. My husband and son went to the car while I waited on the check. I had to go to the bar to ask for a to go box and my check. When I handed her the tip she scoffed at me. I had to wait almost 6 minutes at the bar to pay my tab. Another waitress asked me if I was ready but then still made me wait for my original waitress who then blamed another table for her delay after I had already heard her telling them they didn't have the dish that the customer wanted. Food was decent but service was crap.

Our experience was fantastic! Food was all amazing. Party of 4 we did 2 for $25. Spinach artichoke dip, boneless wings, half rack ribs, chicken parm meal, bourbon chicken and shrimp meal, steak. Margaritas. Zero complaints! Our little waitress was a sweetheart regardless of the rude entitled lady that screamed at her. We appreciated her

Gross food, and the waitress overcharged me. The bill was supposed to be $18.56 but charged $58 hello that’s a huge difference. My husband got a notification on his bank app we were still there at the restaurant and caught it, and made them fix it. Do better. Don’t go here.
