San José Mexican Grill offers an excellent and amazing dining experience with great, efficient, and friendly service. Guests are often seated immediately in a nicely decorated space with roomy booths. Complimentary chips and salsa are provided, with the salsa having a mild spice level. The food is by far the best tasting around, with generous and affordable lunch portions. Dishes like the pork tamal with red sauce and cheese, the Burrito Birria with shredded beef, and the Guacamole & Stuffed jalapeños appetizer are all highly enjoyable. Combo meals come with Rice, Beans, Cheese Enchilada, and a Chile Relleno. There are many margarita and cocktail options, including a marg flight, though the beer selection can sometimes be limited. While service can occasionally be lacking, it does not detract from the overall good experience. The restaurant even serves dessert from an adorable cart. It is a place customers would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back to.
