This place isn't my favorite, but in a small town you get what is open if you don't want to travel. I usually almost always order the same thing. A Molcajete to-go. It's usually ok but overpriced. La Nueva Hacienda Fine Mexican Food & Cantina is a clean restaurant with a good atmosphere and friendly employees. The food is delicious and authentic, with affordable prices and great family service. Guests enjoyed different enchilada platters, Brisket tacos, Fajita burrito, Chorizo burrito, jalapeno chimichanga, and Fish tacos. The chips and salsa are a highlight, with the best salsa noted. The Mangonada Margarita is also very good. The staff provides good service, even for large groups, keeping drinks filled and offering quick service. The restaurant also delivers locally. While the pricing is upscale with typical Mexican restaurant atmosphere, the food is really good. Guests will be back, as it is a surprisingly good place to eat in Osawatomie.
