Somerset Ridge Vineyard & Winery is a wonderful winery that offers a great experience with knowledgeable staff and excellent wines. The venue is lovely, with a large outdoor seating area featuring many tables with umbrellas and a covered veranda. The vigneron is friendly and shares knowledge about the grapes and wine-making process. The winery has a very well-kept outdoor patio area, and even with a large bus of visitors, the atmosphere remains peaceful and inviting. A winery dog often comes over to be petted, adding to the friendly ambiance.
They offer wine tastings and have a variety of wines available, including the Fly Boy and Traminette, which are notable favorites. A ready-made cheese plate is available for purchase, or guests can build their own from the selections. The staff is very helpful, especially when guiding new visitors through the different wines and flavor profiles.
The owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming, making guests feel special. Live music adds to the enjoyable atmosphere, creating a relaxing environment perfect for special occasions like birthdays or just a casual afternoon. The outdoor tables are reserved, costing $10 per person, which also goes toward the first drink.
