Very cute place! Very kind and friendly staff. They need more customers! They have plenty of sushi roll options that are all very tasty! My friend and I paid $63 for 1 appetizer and 4 rolls :)

Every bite we took was followed by oh, man this is so good! Beautifully presented! Service was lovely and quick. There is nothing negative about this place. I wish I lived here, I'd eat here every day!

I eat here all the time. (3-4 days a week) and my order is never wrong. Always fresh and everyone is always friendly.

UPDATE 5/26/26- Im really sad to say that I probably won't be eating here much anymore. They have raised their prices 3 times since opening (I only order a west California roll- started at $12.50, then $13.50,and now $14.50) and its becoming unaffordable. Which sucks because I really like the food. For this town the prices are rather high. Guess ill find a place in Joplin.

This place is amazing. The yaki udon noodles were just right with amazing flavors. The firecracker roll was so delicious. The servers were kind and professional. I will be bringing my friends and telling everyone.
Looking forward to try other dishes in the future! ^^

I came to Okie Hibachi for dinner and the service was amazing and so was the food! The only problem I had was how hot it was in the restaurant. I had seen the AC was on 60!
I then went to the bathroom, and it was as hot if not worse than the dinning area.

my first time ever eating sushi, and it was fantastic! loved the flavors, loved the textures, and loved the service! our waiter was so happy to have new people try their food!

Waitress was great. Food was bearable. Cooks are slow if they make a mistake. Waited over 20 minutes to receive my food back from their error.

First visit was great for a laye lunch/early dinner. Server paoient and listened well. Parents trying certain Japanese food for first time. Recommend appetizer wontons. Roll Kansas, habachi shrimp and garlic noodle. Macha boba was good too. Cannot waiy to go back and try other items!
