Jim’s is our go-to place to eat whenever we’re in Pittsburg, KS. The chicken fried steak is the best. Service is friendly and quick. The salad dressings are house made and delicious. We are never disappointed when we eat here.

Party of six on a Friday evening at 5:30.\nService in the bar was very good.\nFood ok. ( onion rings very good).\nSomeone in mgmt had lost attention to detail as they were out of Cab and only had Merlot. Busy weekend, with a Liquor Store within 100 yards. WTH

I know it is not the same as the original that I had eaten at since I can remember, 1960 to be sure. Tonight I stop by, knowing they were busy, being a single person I had first asked the bar tender whom at one time was a nice guy, tonight he said I guess you could eat at the bar, but it will not make it any quicker.
