Went for dinner today. It was very disappointing. We got two combos, and asked for all eggrool. Would have thought they would replace the two crab ragoons with an eggroll. They did not. 1 eggroll each. Thats fine.
The chicken was very dry, and the sauce was very skimpy. Been a minute since we have been here. Sad to see its gone so down hill.

They give good portion sizes and it's considerably priced but all the food is usually not great. I'm not even trying to hate I just don't get it. The fried rice always taste dirty and the soups taste like dishwater. Just disappointing to be honest

Definitely not worth the drive out of our way due to the Jolin location being closed new years day. The food quality just isn't there and there's definitely no comparison to the joplin location! Joplin also offers $6 lunch specials that include a drink and egg drop soup at no additional charge so its a waaaay better value! Prices are also higher here in ks. Didn't care for the egg drop soup. It tasted off. The eggrolls and rice definitely weren't fresh and had an odd taste to them. The fried chicken was the best thing there and I'd only give it a 6. I won't go back or recommend this location to anyone.

I had kung poa chicken. Quality of food here is garbage. they fill your container up with rice and CHEAP low quality vegies like I've never seen before. i counted 4 small thin pieces of chicken in my entire dish. Was left with a ton of rice and lots of cheap onions and cabbage that wasn't even cooked all the way through.

From my current years of going here, i can safely say its cheap, the people are nice, that cashier that was high that one day is gone and there are new people working.
The food is almost always great, there are times its worse than other times, and some times its much better and really good. I think it really just depends on the mood of the cooks, and the current cooks that day/shift, overall i give the food a great rating no matter what bc even on its bad days its still great.
The cashiers at the drive thru window are nice, sometimes i wonder if they really care to be there or not. The main girl cashier thats there the most is really nice and is good at her job, the newer people i feel could up their game a little bit, but that is to be expected from newer people of course.
The time it takes to get out food has been upwards of an hour with only 4 cars in the drive thru... which is insane, and especially when they arent busy inside as well, and it still takes nearly 45 minutes for just a few cars to get through. So if youre thinking you are going here for your lunch break, think again, theres no way that youre getting your food before your lunch is over or about to be over, especially if there are any cars at all in the drive thru.
Now those rumors i have heard about roaches in food and around the store, absolutely not true from my own experience of about 4 or 5 years of going there, maybe even longer, but i dont keep full track, but i havent seen any type of bug in my food at all, from years, not once, so all those rumors can go out the window
Overall for lotus in general, i really wish you could pick your speed up, its nerve racking when i think i have time to get food and have to be in work in an hour and a half and it takes 45 minutes to an hour to get my food so i have to rush home and eat, other than that, i think lotus is great and will absolutely continue eating there until they decide they want to close... which almost happened, and i was super sad because i love this place, but then they took down the sign and said they are going to continue for about another year which is amazing

Good parking with a drive through. Friendly staff. We are in. All meals served in a styrofoam clamshell. Make it easy to go for sure.
We bypassed some with questionable reviews. I ordered the moo goo guy pan. Large with egg roll.
I am a big eater and I’m sure the normal combo would be fine!
Two people with combos no drinks, mine large for about $20. A great deal!

Lotus is a wonderful place to eat. Large portion sizes make me feel like I'm not wasting money when I choose to eat here. I'm a big fan of their lo mein, cashew chicken, and pot stickers. Recently, they changed their lo mein noodles to something not quite as good - BUT overall, I still highly recommend Lotus. Yummy food! Very nice staff. Big yum.
