“I know it is not the same as the original that I had eaten at since I can remember, 1960 to be sure. Tonight I stop by, knowing they were busy, being a single person I had first asked the bar tender whom at one time was a nice guy, tonight he said I guess you could eat at the bar, but it will not make it any quicker. I wasn't really looking for quicker. So I stepped back to the hostess, whom wasn't at their station when I walked in. I asked if it was okay to sit at the bar, knowing I had done so before with no issue. according to her it was a big no and said it would be at least an hour to sit down, with a couple small tables in the bar area empty. I will no longer go to a place that I loved eating at, even years later under new ownership. I have friends whom come over from Independence to eat and I will advise them of the same as I have here. thanks but no thanks any more. keep your rude people.“
