Nice to have a local donut shop...got a mixed dozen...pretty good
We ordered 4 donuts. All of them exceeded expectations. They were warm, fluffy, and sweet. We also ordered coffee. My son accidentally spilled the entire cold brew, and the employee (I think she was the manager) replaced it without question. Customer service was great, and we enjoyed watching them put toppings on the donuts while we waited.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly.

Visited Duck Donuts about 10 minutes before they closed because we were really craving some donuts. Even though it was late, the staff was super friendly and didn't rush us at all. They made our donuts fresh right then and there, and we left with half a dozen warm, perfectly coated donuts. Highly recommend this place.

I was super excited to take my kids to this new location. Upon arrival, we were the only ones there. We walked through the door and there were maybe 3 young employees. No one greeted us or welcomed us in. We approached the counter and were not offered any assistance. I had to ask how to order since it was our first time in. The teenager was sitting on the counter on his phone. It was completely unprofessional and I was extremely disappointed in our experience. ? The donuts themselves were good but I will not be returning.

I did feel like we were in the Twilight zone. Three workers near the only ones in line. 1 dozen donuts took forever. They worked so slow it almost felt like they were going in reverse. Recommendation order several weeks ahead.

Having enjoyed DD in DC area, we were very happy to find them in KC. We got a couple of donuts sundaes, which were as we remembered them. The only thing was when we entered the store, staff were sitting on the counters on their phones. The idea of sitting where my food was about to be was not the best first impression. Of the three staff in there, none was all that enthusiastic to serve us. Again, first impressions.

Awesome all around experience. Donuts were made on the spot fresh and hot. They even had donut sandwiches with sausage egg and cheese.

I ordered off DoorDash. I left a review there. The donuts are so good that I had to leave another review on here. Donuts are by the best that I have had in a very long time. Very fresh. Coffee is very good as well.

They offer a great variety of super yummy donuts, but don't go there if you are in a hurry. It took over 10 minutes for us to get our 3 donuts. I realize they are made to order, but the staff needs a little pep in their step. No sense of urgency to fill orders for all the people standing waiting. We will definitely go back, but not on our way to work or school.
