Great cozy spot to meet friends for coffee. Their mocha is sooo yummy! Let's keep supporting local small businesses like this one who make our community so special. Great location too with shops, a library and schools all within a few blocks away. Thank you Hattie's!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Hattie’s in Prairie Village for years, but I’m now looking for a café that truly embraces inclusivity—welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities. Recently, I came across a post on Instagram from KC Food Tours that was disturbing and, allegedly, came from the owners.
The irony is that Hattie’s chose Prairie Village as its home, and seems to cater only to privilege. Make it make sense Hattie’s.
We were greeted and had our coffee prepared in minutes! The atmosphere was very cozy and would love to come visit again on a not so rainy day.

Stopped in for some morning drinks, absolutely loved the atmosphere, and the service was great. Unfortunately, the Macha Late I had was very bitter, thick, and grainy. It was likely an accident or too much Macha mix was in the drink. I'd rather not focus on that as I'm certain it was not the desired outcome. In other news, their smoothies are fantastic. I definitely recommend the mango bear!

The coffee is decent so if that is all your going for then this place is great. The atmosphere could be nice if it weren’t for the ridiculously loud staff. I’m a regular at several shops around the area and I’ve NEVER experienced this level of spatial unawareness from the baristas. People were clearly trying to work/ study and when I say they were yelling at each other when they’re literally standing 3 feet from each other and laughing at the top of their lungs i’m not exaggerating. I had noise cancelling headphones in and could still hear every word or their conversation. It sounded like a bar on a Saturday night.
I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

Fantastic drinks. Love the workers, they get to know your orders and you. Food is good too. Lots of “homemade” gluten free baked goods that I highly recommend whether or not you are gluten free.
Dietary restrictions: LOTS of gf baked goods. Even bfast sandwich options

What friendly people, and delicious Chai! During a moderately busy time, the staff was very joyful, helpful with drink selections and recommendations, and very quick about making a superb drink.
