First time for brunch. Got the breakfast platter- Biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes, 2 eggs any way, choice of bacon or sausage.Biscuits were dry, not enough gravy. Gravy tasted pre packaged and not from scratch. Eggs over easy were runny and not fully cooked. Potatoes were decent, well seasoned. Sausage tasted like it was frozen, not great.Atmosphere was decent. Our server was so friendly but overwhelmed with many other tables.Mom got the breakfast Sammy which she said was good. We also got nachos, a chicken quesadilla and chicken tenders for kids. You know, they were ok.Their lunch menu and burgers look way better than their brunch menu. Would I eat here again? Probably not of my own choice. Definitely not for brunch.

4 stars! I wanted to rate a 5 because Jessica the bartender was great. She was the only bartender, severely understaffed. She held her cool was polite and worked the orders as quickly as possible. She smiled and worked the whole bar with poise and grace. I was actually surprised to see only one bartender on such a busy night. Way to work it Jessica.

We have now tried the Bat in Prairie Village 2 times. We didn't have a good experience the first time but thought we would give another try. Both times we eat at the Bar not a table . It took over 35 mins for them to take our drink order. We had to ask them 3 times to take our food order . Took them 1.05 minutes to take food order. Food is average at best and service is poor. They are under staffed two bar attendants serving whole restaurant and bar area. Will not go back .

We popped into The Bar on a Friday night at about 630 and it was packed with a 20 minute wait but we were able to get a seat at the bar which was super nice! We were in a bit of a time crunch so I was super shocked when we had already finished eating and had some time to kill by 7pm! Needless to say the service was great and It was so nice how fast the kitchen was! This new location is NICE! I love all the screens and the tickers with different game scores on the wall! I'm so excited for nicer weather, this will be a great place to eat outdoors on a nice day. The food was also really good! I got the chicken bacon avocado sandwich and it was so yummy! The sweet potato fries were not my favorite but they were served which marshmallow fluff which I thought was fun just not my cup of tea! The couple next to me had nachos and needless to say I'll be going back to try those!

Service was good. Brunch was less than "fine". Coffee was not hot, waffle was burnt. Our server told us "brunch is not the best here". No joke.

We've been there a couple of times and will be going back regularly. Food has always been good, as has been the service. The inside can get a little loud but you have to expect it in a sports bar. The outdoor seating area is wonderful. Lots of items on the menu we still want to try so hope we can go back soon. Maybe watch a Chiefs game. Go Chiefs!!!

Great outdoor seating! The service was really good and the food delicious! I do wish they had gluten-free buns. Their hamburgers are really good but I don't order them because I need a gluten-free option.
