My family and I stopped here on our way home to NC and it was such a nice place to grab a good snack and enjoy some Route 66 history. The staff were super nice and the store was rustic but organized. Definitely recommend!

Very nostalgic and so much memorabilia to look at. Sandwiches are awesome and many types of old style candy. Also they sell freeze dried candies and IBC root beer and cream soda

Wonderful old shop, deli, souvenirs and fabulous sandwiches to est in or takeaway. Very friendly, helpful and chatty owner. Sandwiches were fresh and well filled. Also bought some souvenirs. Highly recommend if you need lunch or just a stop. Thank you 🙂

We went in today to get a couple sandwiches. The two young people working today were totally unprofessional. The boy had on headphones and was arguing with the girl. We have been here many many times. We will not be back. We waited for 20 minutes and finally left because our sandwiches were not done yet. The boy kept messing with his hair and headphones and arguing with the girl saying he was quitting and she was his replacement. He said he can't pay his bills working there. This was just very unprofessional. The girl was busy flirting with two different customers and not really helping. I'm sad this store has went downhill in the past year or so. Another lady waiting for her sandwich was upset and also left right before we did

Small, simple and nice little shop. Lots of cool souvenirs. Deli and fresh sandwiches. Cold drinks and a relaxing spot to rest for a bit. Friendly workers. Definitely worth another trip.

So exciting getting ready for Rt 66 1/2 Marathon for Nov 30th at 9am starting downtown in Galena. Runner shuttled to KS/MO State line to Pro-tire in Baxter KS/OK line and shuttled home. On this Monday only sign-ups $25. Come and join 💕
