“Recommended by a friend, I stopped in while driving back to Joplin. I chose a ham sandwich and they asked if it was okay if the fresh ham was still warm? Still warm?! Yes! Just wheat bread cheese lettuce and ham. I don't eat pie and there was fresh peach pie or cobbler? on the counter. I bought that too. The ham sandwich did not require condiments. I would have had just a plate of ham if I had known how good it was. I also ate the pie. It was so GOOD!”

“What a sweet family that run the restaurant. They and their staff are always considerate and attentive to your needs. I have food allergies and they’ve always cooked for me. Across the board comfort food with THE BEST salads. A Great Rt 66 place to stop for a break. Oh and don’t forget the homemade pies ….to die for! Back room for large groups too.”

Where everyone knows everyone...and if we don't know you we soon will. So many memorabilia hanging around from record albums, photos, route 66 stuff, Gravy's favorite longhorn bull, just tons to look at and figure out. And don't miss out on Sunday Chiefs games when we have big pot lucks. The music is great whether he shuts down 4th St for Torn or opens up Possum holler during concerts/parties. Just a fun, friendly experience.”

“I went through the drive thru. It was digital vs talking to a person. I'm all for that, however the amount stated on the machine was false information. Unfortunately, the card reader did not work. The person at the window encouraged me to pull forward. The amount she stated was more than two dollars than was quoted. The person at the window did the best she could. She indicated it's been wrong for over two years! I don't recommend using the digital screen since it show falso and misleading information.”

“3/10/26 BRENDA had a line down to the hotel check in. Everyone had big orders! She did NOT miss a beat!! This girl needs a raise and a extra help!!! BRENDA by far is a very hard worker. Its safe to say the whole line was amazed at how fast and accurate she was.”
