Awesome local restaurant. They have a buffet on Sunday it was $14.50 including salad bar fried chicken, stuffed peppers, and beef strips. I ordered a smoked pork chop with hash browns it included the salad bar. It was a good meal . We also ordered chicken gizzards meal with salad bar included. It was tasty. Service was efficient. On a Sunday it was busy

My husband wanted to take me to this place, a sort of bucket list. We drove 3 hours to get to this place for the ribeye. It was totally worth it! It's just a clean little diner but don't be fooled, it has awesome ribeye! If we head east we'll definitely stop again.

It was pretty busy on Saturday at lunchtime, so our hopes were pretty high that it was going to be a good restaurant. Due to some low staffing issues, we didn't get seated very quickly, and it seemed like quite a while had passed from when we ordered to when we got our food. The food was brought out warm but lacked flavor in all areas. The brown gravy for the hot beef was very bland. The beef patty in the bacon cheese bulk burger was also very bland and in need of seasoning. The staff was friendly but very distracted due to being so short-handed. The atmosphere was great! The epitome of what a small town diner/cafe should be! Overall, it was a good experience. I might come back to try the buffet since that is what a majority of the other customers were getting.

I ate at the restaurant on my way from Kansas City to Denver. Natalie, the server, was very kind and we spent some time talking. The food was quick, good and cheap. I would eat there again.

This whole review section accurately portrays this restaurant. We came based on the fried chicken recommendation and it did not disappoint! I could have eaten the chicken and the salad bar until I had to apologize for it. The staff in approachable and nice. The place is definitely hella quiet. Which I appreciate but it's definitely a vibe. If you are coming by Russell I would 100% recommend stopping by here
