My Subaru had an axle explode on the highway by Russell, so we were forced to spend the night there. Tried this place as it was one of the only Mexican restaurants in the area. I had the camarones a la diabla, and it was probably the best and spiciest I've ever had. I was literally sweating while eating them. My GF had a big combo platter, and as someone who usually doesn't finish her food, she almost cleaned her plate. They were pretty busy as it was a Saturday evening. 10/10 will go back. Might even make a trip there just for those shrimp...

We ate late afternoon on a Tuesday, so we were almost alone in the restaurant. My expectations were met. The margarita was excellent, the food was excellent, and the portions were large! I will definitely go back if staying in Russell.
