Got the steaks with 2 sides x3 and a chicken bacon ranch sandwich, chicken fingers mash potatoes, whiskey sour, jack on the rocks cranberry juice, sprite and water plus more and played a whole bunch of pool on a nice free pool tables downstairs. Very awesome service, great music selections and beautiful atmosphere. Prices are higher but overall worth it

The food was absolutely outstanding. They told me they cook in tallow and I was pleasantly surprised as you really don’t find that anywhere anymore. My steak was absolutely phenomenal. Their homemade bread I couldn’t get enough of. It’s hearty but the butter gives it the perfect amount of sweetness. The chefs are absolutely dedicated to their craft. The mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve had in a restaurant. This beats any chain restaurant any day. They have music pretty frequently and had some fiddlers that were just wonderful. Our server was newer but we would have had no idea unless they said something. They have chess and pool tables and the environment looks straight out of a movie. You wouldn’t expect this in such a small town but I hope this place stays open for a very long time. We will be coming back for date nights for a long time to come.

2/27/26 Really great first experience! Onion rings, fries, and drinks are great. What a beautiful place. Friendly staff. Great musical act. Our server Matt was great! We can't wait to go back and try more things. What a great town. We want to go do more exploring.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. They knocked it out of the park on food, service, and atmosphere. The best part was the value proposition though. Generous portions of amazing food for superbly reasonable prices. We happened to go on a night when they had live music and the band they had playing (East of Abilene) was fantastic.

Will definitely be back frequently and can’t recommend this place enough.

The chicken strips were breaded not battered like the menu stated and on the dry side. Took awhile to get drinks and the check. Was planning on going back on a Friday to try their beer battered cod but seen a pic on here that it was also breaded. Think I'll pass. On the positive side, the interior was neat.

I wish I could rate this place much higher. The atmosphere was incredible, the staff were very kind, the bartenders made some outstanding drinks, and the food was immaculate. We stayed on the top floor and admired the layout/ambience. Downstairs was like a dungeon with a bar! We drove a distance to go here, and it was worth every penny. We will definitely come here again!!

The service was phenomenal, the Indian gentleman, Garshone, at the bar said he was new here but gave me some of the best service I have ever had. Phil was also very helpful.
The chef is a downright magician, food was out of this world. Steak is Michelin quality.
The whole medieval/ Renaissance atmosphere is very period accurate, complete with a history lesson from the owner or manager if you get lucky!
Will definitely be coming back here for more incredible food and drinks, the Negroni is my new favorite. Bartender recommended it shaken, and it was magnificent!

12/10 for ambience and decor.
Sadly that's where the theme ends. Could really extend that to the menu and the drinks. Really wish there were ANY themed drinks.
Might be the night we went, but the food was terrible. Over cooked chicken, mushy unseasoned fries, raw (honestly uncooked) steaks. Only good food we had was the apple crisp. Everything took way too long to get to us, several of our drinks got misplaced. It's clear the staff is still unsure how things operate.
The prices would have been solid if the food was cooked well.
But seriously, for a place that invested so much heart into making it look and feel like a medieval inn, the lack of themeing extended to anything else is unfortunate.
