Jim's Country Style Chicken, Inc.

I had to wait longer because I sat down before my food was ready on a take out order but the food was amazing and quick too boot.

I didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The special of the day was chicken fried chicken, always a favorite. Jim's version wasn't bad. Nicely cooked, if a little gristly. The potatoes were decent, but the gravy was the winner. It had a subtle chicken flavor to it, almost like they used chicken seasoning instead of salt. That set it apart.

The building looks like it started as a drive-in restaurant of some sort, but it's been remodeled nicely. Now it has a cute down-home feel to it. The two women who were working were friendly.
There was a salad bar, but it wasn't part of the special so we didn't try it. It looked decent though, if small.

In all, we'll go back next time we're in the area.

Arrived at 11 am to find the door locked and no sign on. As I walked towards the door, the employee just stood there watching me walk towards the door she didnt open it until after I was pulling out of my Parking space which was after 11 decided to get my
meal elsewhere

One of those home town places that you really need to go see, food was great, service with a smile, the place was clean...

One of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever had.

Food was good, chicken tenders are huge!

Negatives are - understaffed, food can take a while, we got half our order than had to go up to the counter to ask for the remainder to go.
Tables are dirty, could be more tiddy.
Side were very much okay, mashed potatoes, fries, and dipping gravy. On point! Everything was mid.

I would recommend this place, they just seem a touch overwhelmed and some undertrained.

Clean, friendly staff, excellent food. Lots of choices for meals and desserts.

The chicken straps are the best I have ever eaten. The pie is amazing as well. I highly recommend!!!

Was excited about stopping here. Was trying to avoid fast-food. The options were very large and a little pricey. But I don't think I've ever had a nastier chicken fried steak. Guess I'm spoiled being from the South.

Jim's has the best chicken tenders I have found north of Wichita. Large tenders, not the puny ones you find at other places.
