“What a hidden gem. Found this place as the best pizza in SALINA. Called and ordered it Togo driving into town. The bartender had my order ready and had all the toppings possible. The bar patrons could see I wasn’t from the area and OMG they were so Nice. The pizza, wow. Thin crust and you can definitely taste the wood fired flavor. The homemade sausage was legit. A must stop in SALINA”

“My kids were so excited to eat at Applebee’s since all the Kansas City locations have closed. There was about a 25-minute wait on a Thursday around 6 p.m.—the first night of March Madness—but it worked out perfectly and gave us time to run over to Target.

Nathan was our server and struck the perfect balance of being attentive without overchecking on us. The food was excellent—honestly better than other Applebee’s locations we’ve visited. As we were leaving, the manager, Rachel, took the time to make sure we’d been well taken care of, which really stood out.

The place appeared clean but, due to the architecture, the room with the Hibachi grills was somewhat noisy and there was a bit of an echo. Overall a pleasant experience and we would go back when in Salina.”

“What a great place ! When I am traveling, I always look for the Hometown establishments to support them. The day I was there, I got greeted by Steve the owner he was there cooking burgers ! What’s great experience. It was like a time capsule from the past . I got to hear the store about the famous “flat top grill” that those delicious little burgers are cooked on ! If you don’t know it’s a great story of how sometimes change is not a good thing ! Any way if you’re near Salina you gotta stop in for one of these delicious burgers, I promise you won’t be disappointed! It’s home of the million dollar burger for sure ! #cozyinn #bestburgers”

“We were passing thru Salina going west. Our hotel staff recommended Martinelli’s and they weren’t wrong. Excellent Italian food in an unexpected place. “On December 3rd about 12:30 during a busy lunch I came in with a group of 6 ladies and me being a manager of a restaurant before I can't help but notice things and on that note this experience was Awesome! Everybody was working hard and working as a team the entire restaurant was clean the floors were clean even the BOH floors in front of the fryers in prep area we're clean and when you have the the whole group of ladies noticing the cleanliness of the bathroom that's pretty impressive and this is besides the hot fresh ready great meals we received! I don't know who manages this place but they should be very proud of their crew they are fantastic!”

The space is clean and well-lit with natural light from big windows, which I really appreciate, and it feels thoughtfully designed for those with sensory sensitivities. “Y'all.... you have to stop and check out Vicky's Kitchen. Best Thai food I have had in a long while and I was very pleasantly surprised as I visited Salina.
And the service there!!!! Hands down the best service I've probably ever had when ordering and picking up. It seemed as though it is a mom and son shop, and let me tell you something... hands down the kindest people! Do NOT sleep on this place Y'all! I truly can't say enough about this place. We will most certainly be back!🤤
I will say... if they weren't in the mall, they would be busy all of the time because everyone would know about them. But do not let that keep you from getting your grub on at Vicky's Kitchen!”

“Every time I visit Salina. I stop here for lunch. There menu selections appealing, staff is friendly and helpful, ingredients are fresh and delicious, and service is fast. Strawberry Fields Salad is my favorite so far. The greens are fresh and crisp, the berries are sweet, the cheese is zesty, the candied pecans are perfectly coated and not too hard, the balsamic vinaigrette is the perfect compliment and plentiful without needing to order extra. The side of bread is tender and fluffy. They offer drive-through service too!”

“I do recommend based on previous experiences! Today however, my açaí bowl is extremely watery versus the thick and creamy consistency it usually is. I typically add protein powder to my bowl and today it was just dumped on top instead of mixed into the açaí which I thought was odd… I definitely don’t want to eat straight powder. I called to ask if it being on top like that is normal and the person who answered the phone said yes. I’m wondering now if I’ve been uncharged for protein and not gotten it, or if it was mixed into the açaí like it is most other places. Hopefully this is just an off day and my next order will be better. 🙂”

“Bogeys is one of the best places to grab a mouthwatering burger. Fresh beef from the butcher shop next door makes all the difference in taste! The fries aren’t our favorite, they are curly but could use salt most of the time. Easy enough fix though if you dine in. Drive through is rarely quick, but take the time to sit down inside and enjoy the ambiance, it’s unique and has lots of details. My husband has lots of memories from his childhood here and we are continuing them with our kiddos. Grab a #1 double cheeseburger and a cherry cheesecake shake and enjoy!”

What stood out the most was the customer service. Our waiter was managing a large section, including our table, but never missed a beat. He was attentive, professional, and kept everything flowing smoothly. We all agreed the service was immaculate.

“Braum’s is always a reliable stop for good ice cream and decent food. The service is friendly and helpful, though it can be a bit slow at times. The store isn’t spotless, but it’s not dirty either, it’s understandable with how busy they usually are.

“Arby’s serves some good American food, Chicken sandwiches, Roast Beef, Brisket Sandwiches, etc… However you will pay a bit more for it compared to other fast food establishments. The service is lacking, but to be honest, good help is hard to find these days, and in my experience most fast food Restraunt’s have trouble getting your order to you correct and in a timely manner anymore. Digital age ruined the Zenial/Alpha gen pop brain 🥴….. 🫤”

“Giving this rating due to our hardworking server, doubling as bartender. When we arrived she told us to please seat ourselves, as she was by herself. We were seated, drink orders taken, and relaxed a few minutes while she helped others. We both ordered a steak salad with blue. Very good service, great salad and a Blue Moon. Nice date night out. Management needs to get better staffing, as this is a longterm issue there. Again, kudos to the one that did show up!”

“Pancho's is drive-thru only open 24 hours a day. They have a variety of burritos and other Mexican food items that would lend themselves to a drive-thru. I assume they quit their inside dining during the pandemic, and found this work just as well. I have never been there when there wasn't at least one or two other cars in the drive-thru Lane. I have seen as many as 15. I particularly like the Pancho burrito packed with meat, grilled onions, grilled peppers guacamole. Plus, if you like it, horchata is available.”
