“First off, I want to specify that I ordered a steak at a pasta house. My expectation was set pretty low. I ordered medium rare and got medium, but didnt complain. Cooking a 6 oz steak to medium rare for a restaurant that only has 2 steak options was a miscalculation on my part. The pasta was obviously good and the salad and breadsticks are always amazing. The waiter I had was awesome and attentive and the place was packed but he always managed to balance his time well. He got tipped very well.“

“It was interesting to see all the bad reviews here. I went during winter so there were no flies. Hope they can keep the area clean and do whatever else is necessary so they don't come back.As far as the staff not wanting to be there, they were definitely pretty laid back (partly cause they weren't busy) but one lady was very kind and willing to help with anything we needed.The Stromboli was absolutely delicious.“

“We were passing thru Salina going west. Our hotel staff recommended Martinelli’s and they weren’t wrong. Excellent Italian food in an unexpected place. Our waiter Christian was the best and the food and wine were excellent. If you’re in Salina you must stop for a meal. I saw a lunch menu too! Thanks Martinelli’s!!“
