“I love to eat here! I haven't found anything yet that I don't like and that saying much for someone that grew up around the Chesapeake Bay. The crabcakes here are so delicious! They're different than any I've eaten. They're thin, but crispy and flavorful! I could go on and on!“
“We went through the drive thru today after just stumbling upon it driving back to Nebraska. It looks like such a neat place & you could see everyone enjoying the nostalgia inside! Service was quick & friendly. Prices were great! & the food was AMAZING! The steakburgers were perfect & ooohh my, those onion rings!! Would definitely recommend & hope we come through town again & can stop back & check out the inside!“
“Fresh smash burgers straight off the grill as you order. Totally custom burgers from fresh ground beef. Great tasting, great quality food from this burger chain. You get your dollars worth for sure, essentially with the fries. You're not gonna leave hungry or disappointed. As you wait for your food, you can eat peanuts that they serve, and I have to say, I've never ever had a better peanut, wish I knew the source or brand. If you still have room after your burger or even a hot dog, they have Shakes as well, and there even nationally rated.“
“Blink your eyes and you will miss this place, but definitely worth the stop. The Burger Theory is in the Holiday Inn so not your typical layout for a burger placebut don't let that fool you burgers were amazing and appetizers are half price on Sunday ...might I recommend the Fire Shrimp while I'm at it. You can get onions rings for a dollar more just get the fries because these aren't your everyday fries not sure what's on them but wow they are good.“
“They call it the “Cheers” of Salina. I call it the best chicken tenders and tender gizzards you can get anywhere close!Did I mention the wings? Those are superb as well. The blue cheese is house made and creamy with that perfect BC twang without the globs.Oh and the staff are the best! Sweet and friendly.“
“I didn't have the best experience when I came her the first time. I got the special, which was an egg noodle chicken pasta dish. The portions were way too small and were luke warm. Broccoli soup was not good. I've heard their potato is good, though! They were very busy this day, and their service was so great that I decided to come back with a friend a few weeks later. WOW ! What an improvement!I got the BLT, which was delicious, and I loved the bread it was on. The service was great. They got our food out quickly and were very kind and friendly. The owner is very involved. You can tell this is her passion.Deli meat is great!! Good high quality and very tasty. Their bacon was generous and perfectly cooked.I would say their sides should still be larger portions. The side salads (macaroni pasta, fresh green, and potato) are very small. They serve mostly an older community, though, so that is understandable.Restroom was a little dirty, but I think I just happened to go in after someone who was having a bad stomach day.Acceptable ♿️ 4/5 (they do have a back entrance, but you have to ask, and the bathrooms are a little small. If you have an electric wheel chair, go before you come)Kid friendly 5/5 (definitely the most kid friendly restaurant in town. I have a 1 year old, and this is SO important to me. They have a great kids menu. Some days, kids eat free, and they have booster seats)I feel like I should do a separate review for the left side of the building. It is in the process of being re done, so it's a bit messy if you are looking to host an event or large party of some kind .During the holidays, there is a Christmas market filled with homemade and local goods. It is SO cute. Makes the wait for your food seem like seconds because you can shop and get some of the kids' energy out while you wait. We loved it.We will definitely come back. I am so glad this restaurant is here. Lincoln needed this place!!Kid-friendliness: Great for kids! Best in town if you have kids. Meals come with a Capri sun juice pouch, apple sauce, and a sandwich.Dietary restrictions: They have great allergy friendly options.“
“Traveling across the US, we have had some good and bad experiences with resteraunt food and experiences. I have to say the food in the Salina Applebees was outstandingly my! The service was fabulous, the music was great and in particular…the manager in trading- Doe- was outstanding! She was so friendly and welcoming! she even was protective of my purse that I had carelessly left on the back of my stool and made sure to get it off the floor and into a safer spot! Next time we’re traveling back through Dalina- it will be Applebees for sure! Way to go Doe! You rock!!“
“Usually every time my toddler and I go the same three ladies are there, LeAnn, Penny, and Sarah, and they are always amazing my daughter loves them especially LeAnn. It’s such a small thing but when they make the kids drink they put a small amount of ice so there’s actually 90% drink in there, there have been times when they aren’t working and the kids drink is mainly ice she she only gets maybe two sips and then it’s just straight ice and nothing more. They are amazing and so nice always saying hi to my daughter and making her feel included which makes me happy since she’s at the age where she wants to be included too they are the sole reason we keep going ?“
“This little place is good and I don’t just mean goooood but really good because I’m this age of go go go and buy online being able to go into a place that has been the same thing for over 100 years is an extremely neat experience in itself just to think your a part of something that’s been around longer than yourself and if you can contribute a little time to purchase something and eat something then your hopes that it will continue to be here after you is just a great experience“
