“My dad grew up in Salina Kansas in 1933 and stayed until he was around seven or eight in the 90s. My mom and him took a road trip to many places, including Salina and he remembered this place. He could smell it blocks away. He brought me home with coffee mug that I cherish.“

“On December 3rd about 12:30 during a busy lunch I came in with a group of 6 ladies and me being a manager of a restaurant before I can't help but notice things and on that note this experience was Awesome! Everybody was working hard and working as a team the entire restaurant was clean the floors were clean even the BOH floors in front of the fryers in prep area we're clean and when you have the the whole group of ladies noticing the cleanliness of the bathroom that's pretty impressive and this is besides the hot fresh ready great meals we received! I don't know who manages this place but they should be very proud of their crew they are fantastic!“

“My kids were so excited to eat at Applebee’s since all the Kansas City locations have closed. There was about a 25-minute wait on a Thursday around 6 p.m.—the first night of March Madness—but it worked out perfectly and gave us time to run over to Target.

Nathan was our server and struck the perfect balance of being attentive without overchecking on us. The food was excellent—honestly better than other Applebee’s locations we’ve visited. As we were leaving, the manager, Rachel, took the time to make sure we’d been well taken care of, which really stood out.

“We did go in pretty close to closing time. They didn't have any fries, they didn't have any shakes all they had were hamburgers, but you know, I was hungry.The burger was delicious and got a fountain drink. The kid at the counter apologized over and over. But I understand as a business owner that , in this situation with me involved , it was a good decision
Save them money from wasteful food.\n And wasted on employees, cleaning everything up again just to have possibly a satisfied customer.When most people take it for granted. I know I never eat fast food rarely anyways. So\nIt's unlikely he lost any business from me because of that. “I came in for marinated veggies and a healthy lunch but they have these delicious, fall apart, gooey monster cookies boxed up right by the registers. It’s practically criminal behavior and someone should be stopped. 5 stars, I’ll definitely be back.“

“Giving this rating due to our hardworking server, doubling as bartender. When we arrived she told us to please seat ourselves, as she was by herself. We were seated, drink orders taken, and relaxed a few minutes while she helped others. We both ordered a steak salad with blue. Very good service, great salad and a Blue Moon. Nice date night out. Management needs to get better staffing, as this is a longterm issue there. Again, kudos to the one that did show up!“

“Stopped for breakfast and had a spinach and mushroom omelet with wheat toast and coffee. The service and food were great. Only a couple of minor things like there being spilled jam on the sugar packets and some residue on the butter knife. I let the server know so they could fix it. Omelet was so big I could only eat half of it.“

“When, WHEN... They get your order right thefood is good and hot. I gave this place an extra two stars because their customer service is pretty good. In that, I mean, I've never had to argue about replacing or fixing an order. They may not always seem friendly but they will make sure you are satisfied before you leave. Which is all you can expect, really.“

“First I will note that no fast food place will ever get a 5 star rating simply because the employees are not paid a living wage, eventhough pay has increased(with inflation has it really tho?) which detracts motivation and rightly so. They function primarily as a quick and cheap service which never can equate to quality. However, with this in mind and in other words if you are not completely oblivious to reality and how/why service from these places are a "get what you pay for" grading scale experience then this place really only has an easily overwhelmed(as in slow when busy) issue that I wouldn't be surprised is more due to being understaff and overworked but again that is only my speculation knowing that corporate greed only increases over time and the typical wide spread corporate strategy is to cut cost and labor to an extreme and barely sustainable level for as long as possible and when the place finally becomes unsustainable they discard people like they're nothing and either remodel and reopen or they relocate and thus the cycle repeats. Or I'm wrong. Whichever you want to believe this establishment is an average and acceptable place to acquire cheap food.“
