“Every time I visit Salina. I stop here for lunch. There menu selections appealing, staff is friendly and helpful, ingredients are fresh and delicious, and service is fast. Strawberry Fields Salad is my favorite so far. The greens are fresh and crisp, the berries are sweet, the cheese is zesty, the candied pecans are perfectly coated and not too hard, the balsamic vinaigrette is the perfect compliment and plentiful without needing to order extra. The side of bread is tender and fluffy. They offer drive-through service too!“

“My kids were so excited to eat at Applebee’s since all the Kansas City locations have closed. There was about a 25-minute wait on a Thursday around 6 p.m.—the first night of March Madness—but it worked out perfectly and gave us time to run over to Target.

Nathan was our server and struck the perfect balance of being attentive without overchecking on us. The food was excellent—honestly better than other Applebee’s locations we’ve visited. As we were leaving, the manager, Rachel, took the time to make sure we’d been well taken care of, which really stood out.

“Bogeys is one of the best places to grab a mouthwatering burger. Fresh beef from the butcher shop next door makes all the difference in taste! The fries aren’t our favorite, they are curly but could use salt most of the time. Easy enough fix though if you dine in. Drive through is rarely quick, but take the time to sit down inside and enjoy the ambiance, it’s unique and has lots of details. My husband has lots of memories from his childhood here and we are continuing them with our kiddos. Grab a #1 double cheeseburger and a cherry cheesecake shake and enjoy!“

What stood out the most was the customer service. Our waiter was managing a large section, including our table, but never missed a beat. He was attentive, professional, and kept everything flowing smoothly. We all agreed the service was immaculate.

“Giving this rating due to our hardworking server, doubling as bartender. When we arrived she told us to please seat ourselves, as she was by herself. We were seated, drink orders taken, and relaxed a few minutes while she helped others. We both ordered a steak salad with blue. Very good service, great salad and a Blue Moon. Nice date night out. Management needs to get better staffing, as this is a longterm issue there. Again, kudos to the one that did show up!“

“We had our two grandkids from K.C. with us. It was Adele's 11th BD June 13th and she and her brother wanted to spend it at The Alley. Ryan, Asst. “Stopped for breakfast and had a spinach and mushroom omelet with wheat toast and coffee. The service and food were great. Only a couple of minor things like there being spilled jam on the sugar packets and some residue on the butter knife. I let the server know so they could fix it. Omelet was so big I could only eat half of it.“
